Hi. And now for something completely different. I would like to throw in a newbies review. I was reeled into buying the smok and must say I'm completely dissatisfied. Leaking into the 510 was way to much, I spent more time cleaning then inserting juice. On the other hand, I decided a change was needed, not that I'm loaded, but it was such a pain.

The Aegis I decided to purchase, I've had it for a week, and it's a totally different experience. The way it's built is awesome. Lighter than the Smok hand grenade. After checking the reviews, I bought it. I hope this post is useful, as I've only been a member for a month.

Probably OP is reffering to TFV12 Prince tank if he purchased it as a kit.

SMOK is famous on the forum for producing mods that are even lower quality than some counterfeits.
It’s good to have such beliefs independently verified though.
I think you will be happy with your legend they’re famous for being rugged, reliable, and powerful.

Smok mods are for the most part are the commercial equivalent of click-bait. Gaudy colours, superfluos features, fire-and-forget quality control and a low price point. I've lost track of the number of people I have heard complaining about them here on ECF.
My personal experience is that their tanks are great. I have a TFV8 BBB that has been the backbone of my vaping for the last couple of years. It's been completely reliable and never leaks. Having said that I do use is as an RTA (rebuildable Tank Atomizer), and except for rare examples if a tank leaks it's down user error usually with the wicking or juice viscosity.

The Aegis is a workhorse.
