Awesome, thanks for the information. Hopefully more companies follow suit and make their own 20700 mods so there is more selection. It's a small increase in size for a significant power increase. Seems like a no brainer. I'm sure we'll see more batteries being made also.
Sure it is, it is an 18650 with a little bit extra here and there. It's like my jeans, I wear a "32 waist" with a little extra here and there a.k.a. 36 waist. Or when you ask some people their age and it hasn't changed in years. It's an 18650 that has let itself go and is 20mmx70mm now. But seriously I know that's why I referred to it as a "big 18650". Plus I was wondering if any 18650 mods were made with loose tolerances and spring loaded contacts that would fit these "big 18650s"
When you say "the numbers" are the size of the battery you sound like you don't know what your talking about. The numbers are very important. Putting them sarcastically in quotes takes away from their importance. These batteries are essentially mini hand grenades. So you should never call batteries anything other than what they are. I have the El Kapitan by WHOM that didn't come with all of the available posi pins and for the life of me cannot tighten any 18650s in there. Not even close. I was pondering scooping up a 20700 to see if it would do the job. Not sure if the body will allow for an additional 2 mm in diameter though. I'll probably wait until more devices come round, preferably single batt.
You seem to be a little full of yourself pal, everyone with the reading comprehension of a third grader understood from my posts in this thread that we weren't dealing with an 18650 battery, hell its in the title. But you had to be Captain Save a Ho and tell everybody the proper terminology under the guise of safety when truly you were just being self righteous.
