Monster recipe for your perusal and advice (Symmetry Six clone)

Of course, I only have 2 of these ingredients, and one I probably can't get at all (DIYFS Holy Vanilla), so I will have to hold off until I can make an order for the missing bits, which will probably be a little while since I've spent so much money on stocking up on hardware these last couple of months.

If you swap Vienna Cream for 3% FW Bavarian Cream, I'm going to call this cloned. I made a few more versions moving %'s around, but if you make it, you'll instantly know it's the OLD Sym6, not the new one that taste completely different.

I can't believe I did it, I was so list and about to give up. I've won several championships at a national level in racing, yet this feels like one hell of an accomplishment. Like I said, a tick of sweetener, moving a half percent here and there, bam!

WOW! I'm thrilled! But also aaargh, I can't find Real Flavors rhubarb here! I'll see if I can get my hands on some by other means, but this is a problem. Also, I *can* find Real Flavors Oatmeal Cookie, but not the super concentrate. Can I just add more of the regular version?

And, one last question: did you happen to try Capella Sweet Strawberry in this? I ask because I've heard that Jungle Flavors Strawberry Sweet is a clone of Capella Sweet Strawberry, and I already have Sweet Strawberry (CAP).

I actually CAN get DIYFS Holy Vanilla! It's the only DIYFS flavor that Chefs Flavours carries!

I got my RF Rhubarb from Chefs actually, even though I'm in the US. The regular Oatmeal Cookie won't work-it doesn't have the flavor @20% that the SC has @1%. RF releasing their SC line was a God send for this recipe/clone. As far as JF Sweet Strawberry, it's only of the only strawberries I can taste, and is MUCH better than CAP's version.

I'd hate for you to order all these concentrates to then tell me I'm crazy (taste wise), so would you like me to send you a complete concentrate? I only offer because I now know the pain on spending $$$ on concentrates that don't lead to the panacea I was promised, lol.

But it sounds really good; I can't imagine how it wouldn't be tasty!

Do you have INW Shisha Vanilla? Also get Cap NY Cheesecake if you don't have it. It's in my second closest iteration, may be necessary depending on long term steeping.

I do have INW Shisha Vanilla! and some Cap NY Cheesecake (though this one is pretty old, and not much remaining, but it'll do for now if I need it).

So, I placed my order. And despite teasing me on every page with how my order was going to be free shipping, of course it wasn't (bc that's only for UK, though they don't say that). So I just went ahead and picked up almost all the odds and ends I've been waiting around on for various recipes, since shipping remains the same for 1 item or 20 items.

Now I'm going to be able to make Placid clone, Honey Pearry, Claire's Coconut Cream Pie, Claire's Creme de Vanille, HIC's Heart of Andes, Lemon Cookie, ddirtyvapes' Cabana Boy, ThatAintRight76's Gambit-type recipe, and this INCREDIBLY ELUSIVE Symmetry Six clone!

Oh, but I don't have the JF Strawberry Sweet. Still, I'll try it with Capella (or IWA Shisha Strawberry?) for the first go 'round, until I can order the JF strawberry and the DIYFS Holy Vanilla.

Well I appreciate any help, and hopefully this doesn't disappoint. I'm working off of 1ml left from a batch dated 12/01/15, and memory of the original. My girlfriend, who HATES everything I make, said "I thought you couldn't get this stuff anymore" (referring to Sym6) when trying my recipe... So that gives me hope, as I was a 4 pack per day smoker, and don't claim to have the best taste recognition.

Actually, I've never known anyone who's tried it, much less liked the original Sym6, so it'll be nice to have a reference. I will say one thing though, on which I must be vague- when people go about cloning, I think they do it all wrong-think about this... If the NSA wanted to clone a juice, do you think they would have taste testers? Nope. They'd find all the info they could...

It may be better with the Shisha Vanilla, actually. As far as the strawberries, I'd do 4% Cap Strawberry Sweet and 1% INW Shisha Strawberry for subs. You'll want to engineer it to your tastes, anyhow.

Oh hell. I just realized you said swap Vienna Cream for FW Bavarian Cream -- as in use FW Bavarian Cream, right? I have Vienna Cream coming, and I have TPA Bavarian Cream, but not FW. Again, something I can fix in a later batch.

If you use the TPA Bavarian Cream, I'd knock it back to 2.5%. It has much more of that maple hint than FW, which is more Vanilla forward to me.

Would FA Vienna Cream be better than TPA Bavarian Cream? I also have FA Catalan Cream and IWA Vanilla Cream.

Ehh, probably TPA Bav would be better, I almost want to suggest 2.5%, plus 1% FA Vienna Cream, but without having tried it, I'd feel safer with just the TFA. Try a 5ml batch each way maybe?
