Non sweet, slightly sweet, sweet, very sweet - non

OVERALL RATING (Bad, ok, good, great) good

MY EXPERIENCE & OPINION YMMV

Upon first impression I would say this is an average, plain, RY4. There are no particular qualities that stand out. Its a fairly light flavor, its not sweet, but it's blended well. It's on the heavier tobacco side in flavor, with just a little caramel, vanilla surrounding it.

The tobacco is good though, there's a bit of a spice note which pops out the more you vape it, its earthy, and I would say it's really good for a tobacco flavor, a little weak for an ry4 type. The caramel/vanilla (and sweetnesss) to me is really what defines an ry4.

Tobacco heavy, American custom , non sweet ry4. It's a manly ry4 arr arr arr.....Their answer to the big question the website says lol

While at first it seemed like nothing special, before I knew it I had been continually vaping it for quite some time because I really like the tobacco in it. Moondrop extracts it. I've used it since I got it last night, and this morning putting a nice dent in my 10ml bottle, mostly @ 4.2 and up.

Its made by Moondrop in good ol New York. Paul's a cool guy and customer service is great.

$5.95 for a 10ml bottle, $12.95 for a 30ml and it's available in different blends including 100%vg.
Shipping is $6.

Moondrop and Mom&Pop are two vendors who specialize in the liberal use of Tobacco Absolute. All the Moondrop tobacco juices I have---Straight Up, Straight Up Caramel, Straight Up Apple Cider, and RY42---are predominantly TA based for their tobacco element, at least if my taster is accurate. Not a criticism, by the way, just a comment.

For those other than dog and passer who might not know, Tobacco Absolute is a natural tobacco extract, commonly from Bulgaria. I don't know what the extraction process is---it's more than simple maceration---but whatever it consists of, the result is a thick, super-concentrated, blackish liquid with a pronounced yellow-green oiliness. "Pure" TA is often diluted to like 1% (I don't remember the exact percentage, but it's a ridiculously small number) before being sold for personal use. Even then, TA should be diluted further in actual mixing. It's that potent. TA is recognizable for its unique taste, which is unlike any other NTE. It is sometimes used with synthetic tobacco flavorings to intensify and punch up the tobacco-ness of the flavoring, but even a little too much TA will produce a strong "ash-tray" aftertaste that some vapers don't enjoy (I sort of like it myself, at least when it's not overwhelming). When used skillfully, TA produces a nice smokiness with just a hint of ash.
