More cartomizer help please..

OKay having another disappointing day with these blank 510 cartos on my ego.Does anyone else experience DOA cartos?Filled one up pretty well and decent vapor but terrible terrible burnt taste.Can someone recommend a good vendor for cartos?Should I start using LR?

I like to Boe LR 2.0 ohm cartos. They have a veticle element and produce nice vapor and flavor. If you are getting a burnt taste then odds are it was not filled correctly.

Yeah maybe im not I did the condom method that usually works but tried the spin method with a sock(bad?)

Are some of them not quite making connection? I think that can happen. Also, are you using protected batts? I think once I had a carto not work on one battery setup, but worked on my other setup (same brand battery and connector). Thought that was weird. Do you have any other devices you could try the non working cartos on? They may not be dead. Or take a look at that one thread about re-seating the inner connection of the carto and connectors (I think it was in the modders forum).

The best 510 cartos I've used are Blank Boge Silver Connector Soft Tips. I have never gotten a DOA carto but that doesn't nean that you might not have a bad batch.

One thing I learned about cartos is that an Overfilled carto doesn't work well. After I fill a carto, I put a paper towel over the battery end and give it a gental blow. If any juice comes out, blow again until none does. Clean the battery connector with a new paper towel and the battery with a Q-Tip. Let the carto sit for 3 or 4 minutes before using to fully saturate.

I don't like LR cartos. It's just not the hit I'm looking for.

I prefer filling my cartos using the drip method. I think it's cleaner, easier and quicker than using the condom method. You really need to let them sit for at least a few minutes before you start using them or do a Taryn Spin before you use them, otherwise you're probably going to get a burnt taste. The juice has to work its way to the threaded end of the carto in order for them to work correctly. It doesn't sound like your carto was DOA because you still got vapor from it. If it was DOA it wouldn't have worked at all.

Cartos, or at least the ones I have used - Joye 510 blanks - are a crapshoot. I used one for 2 weeks. I also, from the same batch, had three that died within the first fill. This is why I avoid the 2.5 ML eGo cartos ... too much liquid investment for something that could die at any moment.

I also agree with those who say let em sit for a bit after filling. I fill thru the battery end and wait 30 mins or so ... works pretty well.

+1 on the Boge cartos. Clouds Of Vapor Ecigs has them. They all work for me. However, I don't use them at 3.7v. I am never satisfied with a carto at 3.7v. I use them at about 4.6volts and they vape like beasts.
