I'm pretty new to the vaping thing and I know my tastes will change over time. For now, most of the flavors I have tasted are mostly flavorless. Really smell more after the fact than when vaping. I've found one flavor i really like (Evil Monkey from buckeye vapors) and some that are OK (like peppermint and a red bull like flavor), but not all day vape flavors. The Evil Monkey I mixed some menthol in to give it more of a hit, but that hasn't worked with the others so far. I was a menthol smoker.

Any suggestions?

It's just a complete crapshoot. My only suggestion is to find one of the highly recommended vendors here (Alien Visions, Rawr, Highbrow, VapeDudes, etc.) and try a small sample size of a couple of their most popular juices and see if you like them. If not, try a couple more from another highly recommended vendor.

Also, the equipment you're using can have an effect on flavor. E.g., some clearomizers are noted for muting flavors. So, before deciding that a juice doesn't have much flavor, try it in an atomizer to make sure. It could be the juice delivery system, not the juice, that is causing the lack of flavor.

If you're using cartos or clearos, you'll find that flavor and vapor is wildly improved when dripping on an atomizer instead (preferably low resistance, or regular on a high voltage PV). Save the cartos for driving or going out for convenience, but dripping at home is really no fuss...This way you get to enjoy subtler flavors as well.

Thanks guys for the suggestions. Just made it back to check the threads. I have tried atomizers and cartos, but I think my taste buds are still messed up from smoking. Thanks for the suggestion of the place free extra flavor.

For now, most the flavors that aren't doing anything for me I'm setting aside. Hopefully the will taste better in the future.

I too have purchased from Buckeye Vapors. Until recently LOVED their DK but afraid they have changed flavors? I would suggest going to perfumers apprentice's flavor site and buy samples as well as purchasing some unflavored nic juice. Mix 5 to 10% flavoring. If your not looking to mix yourself check out viking vapor and liquid express. Viking has many flavors and they are very reasonable as far as price. LiquidXpress has honey fluecured tobacco and taboo. Awesome flavors but somewhat pricey. Availablilty for honey fluecured sometimes is not there. I personally buy 1 pg based and 1 vg based honey flue cured and mix them. Seems to be the sweet spot for me.
