I like the evolution of how things are starting to improve

Agreed! Just within the next two months or so there are some really clever mods hitting the streets, and hopefully with successful debuts. This is an area that is ripe for technological innovations. Goodies like the Kayfuns, Ithakas, and the like I hope are the vanguard of greater things to come.

Mine arrived Friday.
Beautiful hybrid, stunning craftsmanship. Absolutely flawless machine work. Lots of clever innovations that work. Simple button with a nice short throw, easy to set up thanks to the removable well ring on the atty deck. Reduced air chamber in the cap, deeply etched engravings, not lasered. Worth every penny. Minimal voltage drop. Vapes like a stainless steel hybrid, though the ability to run dual coils and the reduced chamber produce a nice warm vape with a punchy throat hit. Flavor is very good, vapor production with Gorilla Juice is ample. Adjustable air flow is actually functional, unlike some that hype adjustable air flow. Threads are smooth as a baby's .....
I think the take home points and most outstanding features of the mod is the obvious quality of manufacturing, cleaver innovations, and pride in the craftsmanship the makers clearly have.
We can only hope that some of the modders who found success with their mods in years past and who've been resting ever since on their laurels with the same tired set ups will see the writing on the wall. There's a lot of smart, dedicated, and talented modders making real strides in vaping technology on their doorstep ready to steal away their mantels. And Sotong and Team are leading the pack.

Hey guys, im looking for some advice here,

So
Iv had my BR over the weekend and it has been vaping great. I noticed the copper insert in the firing button looked quite tarnished so i disassembled it, rubbed it down with SS mesh and put it all back together. Since then i have noticed it only fires if i put sidewards pressure while i press it, along with that i just noticed that there is quite nasty looking arcing between the copper insert and steel outer button assembly. Im quite worried that polishing it all up has damaged the button and i dont feel comfortable vaping it with the arcing. The button is also getting quite warm. Any help or advice will be great, thanks in advance guys.
