More shipping options?

I'm mulling around a few ideas here...

I'd like to offer a cheaper shipping solution to people who want to just buy a few batteries or other small items. I might offer the ability to ship First Class and use a thick bubble envelope which would wind up costing under $2. Not as fast on delivery times or protective as a flat rate box but could save you a few bucks.

OR

I have also considered RAISING (yes RAISING) prices slightly, offering free shipping on all orders PLUS offering an extended warranty period (length undecided) AND I pay for postage to return any defective parts. Price increase would be the highest on kits (which may happen anyways)...very slight on parts and supplies.

Just being honest and looking for feedback from customers. Maybe I'm cutting my throat but I feel like we are 110% on service.

Cheap first class shipping would be a wonderful idea. Sometimes a package will go just as fast by first class, and I just hate to pay $4-$6 to ship something that weighs a few grams (worst-case scenario).

I think next day should be a option if someone wanted to pay.

All three UPS Next Day Air shipping options are available now. We call it the "I gotta have it tomorrow!" shipping option. No one has used it yet.
