ok folks, some of you have been noticing the Donna jean name on your confirmation emails. That's my darling mother. She is in town for a month to help with the biz and get to know all of you. I will get her on here later to say hi, in the meantime if you get a confirmation of your order by email from her you will know who she is.

ummmm, she made me do dog poop too. yuk!!!!!
and we had an old ringer washer machine and I was deathly afraid of getting my fingers getting caught in the ringer!!!!

OMG, we had a wringer washer and you had to hand crank the wringer. One time when we were kids, LD got his hand caught in the wringer but he didn't know that if he stopped turning the crank it would stop sucking his arm into the thing!

It was a good thing I was there washing some clothes on the scrub board and was able to get LD to stop turning the crank. But that's why he has one fat arm and one skinny arm today. He likes to tell people its because of his back problems that he has the skinny arm, but this is what really happened.

And that's the truth.

I also received a very pleasant email from your Mother after placing my order today. She said she's retired, on vacation, came to see her Son and he put her to work!
If my Mother came to visit I would treat her like the Woman who brought me into the world, fed me, washed my clothes, put up with all my crap and loved me unconditionally. But that's me.
