A few weeks ago I was fortunate to win a free bottle from Mountain Oak Vapors. I was asked to give them my opinions and they blessed me with a sample pack with their other tobaccos flavors to review a well. Before I get to the reviews I want to say how great these people are. Customer service is top notch. Out of all the companies I've ever bought from this is one of the best when it comes to communication and the human element. These reviews will be brief compared to my usual reviews so if you would like more info, please pm me.

Quick note: Black Forest, Blue Ridge, Frostbite, and Cloverfield all have the Tennessee Original Base. The Applewood and MOV Gold are the smooth and mild base. I personally like the smooth and mild base more.

Black Forest

I love passion fruit and I also love black licorice. Combining to two sounded really interesting to me. This was the flavor I was most excited about. I never would've thought these flavors, with tobacco, would be a good vape. Well I was wrong. No flavor dominates this one. The passion fruit is obviously there, the licorice is there, and the tobacco is there. It's all in perfect harmony. I've never experienced a flavor such as this before. It's unique and extremely well balanced. The throat hit is pretty good for .8%. The vapor is excellent.

Final thoughts, they've created a masterpiece. It's unique, original, creative, and amazing. Tobacco lovers as well as tobacco haters should be attracted to this vape. For the flavor seekers, this is a gem.

Blue Ridge
I've had a few Blueberry tobaccos before. While not ever being a fan of any of them, this one is different. The blueberry is not dominant but not slight either. Not too sweet and obviously a tobacco, this vape is pretty good. This is not one I'd ever consider ordering but you can definitely taste the quality. The throat hit and vapor is the same as the Black Forest.

Final thoughts, this one is pretty good. It's not flavors simply squirted in a base, it's high quality. As I said before, it's not a liquid I would order but one I could see others easily ordering and enjoying. My taste is of course original to me but I can tell a quality liquid when I taste one, even if it's not my favorite.

Applewood
This is another tobacco blend I've ordered from different companies. First off, I like that the apple is not green apple. Everyone is using green apple flavoring. The apple is much more like a red apple than any other. It tastes pretty authentic for an apple flavor. I've had a few natural apple liquids and this is very similar in flavor. This is another harmony of flavors. It's obviously a tobacco but I don't need to search for the apple or the tobacco. Both are present while not dominating each other. Throat hit and vapor are the same as the others.

Final thoughts, this is another of my favorites of the tobacco line. I do like the smooth and mild base more then the tennessee. The apple flavoring is fantastic and works great with the tobacco. This is a flavor I keep coming back to. While not an all day vape for me, it is one that I may order in the future.

MOV Gold
I've only had one other honey tobacco. It was terrible. I really wasn't excited to try this one. I'd never go out of my way to get honey tobacco. Well this made me think differently. The honey flavor is light but obviously present. It's not too sweet. I would actually like more honey flavor in mine. I think it's great but do think the base does dominate a little bit. While I don't want a ton of honey that would make it too sweet, I wish I could taste a little more of it. The throat hit is less than the others but the vapor production is the same.

Final thoughts, this reminds me of summer. It's more of a relaxing flavor. There's nothing complex or mysterious. While I do wish there was more honey flavor, this still is an excellent vape.

Frostbite
Since I've never smoked cigarettes, I've never had any actual menthol tobacco. I have had a few menthol vapes. I hate menthol tobacco liquids that are all menthol with a little tobacco added. Since one of my all time favorite liquids has menthol I didn't have high hopes for this one. Once again, this proved me wrong. While obviously menthol, the tobacco flavor is there as well. It complements the menthol perfectly. A cool rush with the tobacco flavor, I'm a big fan of this one. Even after vaping I'm still feeling the cool feeling when I inhale. The throat hit is not as obvious for me but the menthol coolness may be distracting me.

Final thoughts, this is a winner. It's obviously a menthol tobacco and a good one. It feels great. The coolness is there but is not overdone, as many other menthols are. This has made me a menthol fan.

Cloverfield
As the same with menthol, I'm not familiar with clove tobacco. I've had a clove cigar but it just added some sweetness rather than tasting like actual clove. As I'm not really the right person to give a clove perspective, I'll give it my best. It's obviously clove. A little spicy on the front of the tongue, I can still slightly taste the tobacco. This is probably due to my unfamiliarity with clove rather than their end (as it was with the Cubano Flame for me). While I would never reorder this flavor, it still is pretty good. The spiciness on my tongue does take away from throat hit but that is probably on my end. Vapor production is the same as the others.

Final thoughts, it's a good mix. Clove is such a strong flavor. To be able to recognize the tobacco is a win in my book. I've tried a couple clove liquids before and this is the best one.
