Here use this it's free and wont resizePostimage.org - free image hosting / image upload make sure you register so you can have your own galleries/albums
I suggest uploading it as .png so that when you click on the image it will open full size preview (use hotlink for forums 1)

If you use a .jpg image you will have to manually edit the "hotlink for forums" code to be able to click for full size- .png does it automatically for some reason??? Otherwise it will just take you to postimage.org website

This is normal code
HTML:

From the IMG section I copied the image ID (5b40skk6l) and added it to the URL section as "image/5b40skk6l/" see below
HTML:

Yeah the ecf forum scales the image to fit the page no matter what you do, but its still the full resolution image without compression. Yeah you can use the standard "hotlink for forums 1' code and just right click then view image to get the full size.... I just suggested editing the code for single left click for the enlarged image for ease of use/viewing. If you were to upload via ecf it compresses the living crap out of em:laugh:

apparently with photobucket you have to get a premium account to go above 1024x768 .. looked in settings and checked the "show link as original" and all it does is add the word original to the end of the link and goes right to photobucket's interface

oh well

any suggestions for image hosts?

Tinypic if you just want a host to post an Img even does PNGs and GIFs ;)
Size how you choose, (default is your files size) never had a pic go down on me for some unknown time limit.

For jpg's I want to keep around on the net I use flickr.com cause I stay off Google as much as I can try.

(With tiny pic you can refresh the captcha box ad till a word captcha appears, if you don't do ads)

yes.. and i copied img url from that code and pasted it into my address bar.. it was a smaller image than full size about half the size

Hmmmm I can't seem to recreate it. I dunno???? I don't paste the code into the browser but instead paste it directly into forum reply box. The only time I got a smaller image was when I used one of the direct link options or the thumbnail for forums option. Well at least you figured out a way out to get your pics up:)

imgur.com is a good one for photohosting, it will let you hotlink ect but plus gives you albuming ect ect and is easy to use. One tip tho is make the album first then upload to the album, just makes it easier than doing it later.

imgur is great for photo sharing..tho sadly it resizes large images too =/

images for printing need to be really high res to transfer correctly
