Semi-off-topic Note:

I just learned from an ultra-reliable source that the versions of MOV liquids I have in my stash are not quite the same as the versions currently being sold publicly. For instance, the MOV GOLD I have apparently has much more honey, a flavor element that was subsequently scaled back for the current GOLD available from the MOV site. I also have some formulations of CountRY-4 that were experimental, although my reviews and post comments are not coming from those, but rather from a bottle that was in an MOV sampler pack sent to me by the hangdude.

That's a built-in pitfall of posting from personal experience, of course. Not only do we change over time (in what our palates like or don't like), but the juices we're vaping change as well---and not just because of steeping. I have a considerable number of bottles of retail eliquid in my stash that are old enough now to quite possibly not be the same as the versions being sold now. For instance, I still have half a bottle of Maxboro from BWB that isn't even called Maxboro anymore. Now it's Bacco. Who knows if Don uses the same formula or source ingredients for that juice now? I certainly don't.

I hope that the juices in my little MOV stash are close enough to the current versions for my comments to be at least in the ballpark most of the time. But, as I said, I do hear that the honey in GOLD has been toned down, which I think was a very wise move and a worthwhile revision.

Im not home yet but its in a carto on my inferno but im getting black label ry4 with MOVs unique tobacco (as a comparison ). If your still around Bill does that sound more correct lol

dog,

I don't want to say that it's "correct," since so much of this is far from objective, but yes---I consider Spring Vapor Black Label RY4 to be among the small number of interestingly exotic RY4s in the marketplace, much like MOV CountRY-4 and Highbrowbacco RY4. I use the term "interestingly exotic" to distinguish those three RY4s---all of which are thoughtful, high-quality juices---from a bunch of others (unnamed here to protect the guilty) that I regard as "just plain weird," meaning dreadful.

Well, I got mine yesterday and so far it's not to my liking :(

It smells perfumy and salty. That's very weird. It's very woodsy. It tastes like vomit at the moment, really does. The kind that you vomit out after 10 back to back shots of whiskey followed by a greasy burger.

I hope it'll get better by next week. Steeping like no tomorrow!

Well goodthing you won it instead of bought it! If you do not like it you won't like the rest of their tobaccos because they are all similar.

That's the first I've heard of somebody hating it but were all different. I recently had some epipemods lbl and it has a similar tobacco base so you may want to steer clear of them also
