So after reading all the positive reviews, I ordered the Tennessee Original Sampler Pack. The first juice I tried was the Tennessee Original. I did not like the flavor at all, it seems very perfumey (SP) to me. On to the next flavor, Classic CountRY4, same perfumey flavor and not that much different if at all than Tennessee Original. Time for the third flavor, Smooth & Mild, now, I read somewhere that Smooth & Mild uses a different base than Tennessee Original, but again I taste the same perfumey flavor and seems almost the same flavor as the other two.

I was very much looking forward to enjoying these flavors and I am disappointed. I guess I'm just hoping that I just have a bad batch.

Also read somewhere that juices from Mountain Oak do not need steeping, so that can't be the reason then.

Can anybody who has tried these flavors confirm if they are supposed to taste almost identical to each other? Any perfumey taste at all?

Thanks,

Hey final.. I had the same experience. I won a bottle in a contest and liked it ok, so ordered two of their sampler packs. They all tasted the same to me,, something about the base, I think, just didn't agree with me. I let them sit for a while and they really didn't change much. The owners are lovely people and I just felt so darn bad about not liking them,,, but I've had juices from other places that I didn't like either.. I guess you just can't please everyone. When they say taste is subjective,,, boy is it ever!!! I have a very yummy Dragon's Blood from ECB that I think is about the best thing I've ever vaped and my bff just about barfed when she tried it... how could she NOT like it??? I'm glad someone likes them though, I like to see a small business succeed. Also glad to know it isn't just me ;)

I understand where you both are coming from. I get the same thing out of Halo juices. For some reason, it tastes like bug spray. But even though I get a citrus background from the MOV base, it is not smacking me across the face. And I don't get a perfume taste at all.

My suggestion would be to put it back in a drawer for a month. Then see if it has gotten better. Otherwise, you can try trading, selling, or PIFing it away.

Oh final!!! Say it ain't so!!! How can anyone not like dragons blood??? Oh well, more for me :).

Dude, I know you're a fan, I'm a fan of LeDeans too, just not the juices and I can't tell ya how BAD I feel about that! I did PIF all the MOV stuff I had, it's all going to a Navy guy who's shipping out soon, to share with all his buddies that vape. I couldn't stand to waste ANY juice, wether I like it or not.

Virgin vapor has the same funny taste to me, I wonder if she uses something similar,,, I sent all that to the navy boy too, along with some of my favorites too. My son was a navy boy so it's a good cause. And they just might like it and become good customers for LeDean :)

I haven't tried these guys yet, though I plan on it. Just my two cents: A lot of vendors seem to use the same base or series of flavors to spruce up their tobaccos. Either you jive with it or you don't. My favorite for tobacco is vsvapor, and there's definitely one base underlying all of their tobaccos, but its a base that jives with my taste buds--plenty of folks out there don't like it. The beloved line of BWB tobaccos have a few bases among their varieties of tobaccos, and tragically I just couldn't acquire a taste for it. Steeping helps..some, but I've never experienced that earth-shattering metamorphosis that people talk about, just a more pronounced flavor of what I sampled out of the mailbox.

NaOH,

I wish I'd written that post, because I agree wholeheartedly with everything you wrote. I never quite got comfortable with BWB tobaccos because of the cedar undertone. And don't get me started about Halo's medicinal disintectant "purity" base...

they use an artificial tobacco flavoring in their tobaccos. While the Tennessee Original and Smooth n' Mild are different bases, they do taste similar. I found the tobacco flavoring to dominate too much and didn't really like the fact I instantly recognized fake tobacco. I think that if a vendor is going to put out a fake tobacco liquid, it better be one of a kind.
