Mountain Oak Vapors--awesome products, awesome vendor

I ordered the Original Tennessee tobacco Sampler pack and a Phoenix Atomizer Clone from Mountain Oak Vapor.

The tobacco liquids are exactly as advertised: Original! They each came in 18 mg, 3.7ml amber bottles with dropper tops (very cute). While the packaging may sound unremarkable, the flavors themselves are very different from any other tobacco I've tried.

From their site, ( E-Liquid Tennessee Original Sample Pack - 100% Made in the USA only at Mountain Oak Vapors) the flavors are listed below. I found the descriptions to be extremely accurate to my tastes (YMMV).

All of them delivered copious vapor production and satisfying throat hit as well as fantastic, earthy tobacco flavor. Great base flavor with a distinct and well done variation on each.

"Tennessee Original™: This is sweet all American tobacco blend that is strong in falvor and sure to please. Wood-like and smoky tobacco notes, bright and vibrant high notes and deep and earthy undertones will take your tastebuds on a pleasant ride. A sweet & robust tobacco that is both complex and unique. You will not find a flavor like this anywhere else, we guarantee it!

Applewood: A signature blend from Mountain Oak Vapors described by many customers as the best Apple Tobacco they've ever tried! This flavor combines our Smooth & Mild tobacco base with natural apple flavor and finishes it off with plenty of nuttiness.

MOV Gold™: Sweet, sweet honey layered over top of our signature Smooth & Mild tobacco blend. This is an original take on a honey-cured tobacco with a little side of country!

Smoky Mountain 555™: Smoky Mountain 555 is our unique and original take on a Nutty Tobacco Blend. We start with our Smooth & Mild tobacco base, add a helping of hazelnut and finish it all of with a pinch of toasted almonds.

White Leaf™: Smooth, Sweet and Bright, this Vanilla Tobacco E-Liquid will keep you coming back for more!

Blue Ridge™: Looking for the blueberries at the end of the trail? You'll find them here in this liquid. Our Tennessee Original signature tobacco base melds seamlessly with a helping of blueberries that is a customer favorite and sure to please!

Smooth & Mild™: A less bold version of our Tennessee Original tobacco base with the same complex & robust flavors that our tobacco customers have come to love. This blend is less sweet and contains less of the proud high notes present in our Tennessee Original tobacco base.

Classic CountRY4™: They asked for it, and we delivered! Our customers have had nothing but the best things to say about our MOV take on a classic RY4 blend. What is RY4? Traditionally it's characterized by Tobacco, Vanilla & Caramel. CCRY4 Delivers on these 3 flavors and will definitely satisfy your 'itch'."

I liked every one of them, but particularly love the Tennessee Original, White Leaf and Applewood. They were all great out of the box with no need for steeping, though I think they will be even better as the flavors mature and mellow.

Like Halo and some of my other favorite premium juice vendors, Mountain Oak Vapor juices are unique and flavorful and probably too difficult to replicate through my DIY without a lot of tweaking and experimentation. There is something to be said for convenience. The sampler price seems very reasonable for the quantity and quality of their product.

The Phoenix delivered clean and powerful flavors but burnt out within a few days (!), probably due to overuse and vaping at too high a voltage! Yet the beauty of a rebuildable is its ease of repair and with a new coil and wick, it vapes beautifully again at 3.7ohms on my VV box mod at 6V.

I will be reordering soon, this time getting replacement Kanthal wire and some SS mesh to pop in the atty along with a good supply of juices.

MOV filled and shipped my order almost immediately. Customer service is personal and responsive and I highly recommend them!
