I'm a bit of a flavor snob / flavor hound, so I go from mouth to lung, then mostly exhale through the nose, and I try to savor the taste and flavor of whatever juice I'm vaping. Direct lung hits remind me of several friends who tried my setup, going straight for the lungs, and all it did was serve to make them cough their heads off. I reminded them to take it easy, slow the hell down, and had a great laugh.

99.9% of the time I mouth vape only. I love to do a nice slow lung inhale after my mouth inhale, but if I do it too much I end up wheezy because of my asthma, especially this time of year.

Same here. Inhaling anything is not what nature intended, no matter how "cool" it is. Seems this is how I started smoking cigs 20 years ago so no judgement from me on what anyone else does with vaping, or why.

PG and VG is deemed safe, but I am not sure it has been tested for human consumption with heat applied to it and drawn into the body in a vapor form, all day long, every day.

Flavorings. Yeah seems most are tested safe for digestion, but not tested for heating and vaporizing and inhaled. Sure it's in food.... but direct inhale of it after vaporizing has not been tested. If it is cooked in an oven sure kind of the same thing, but this doesn't happen all day every day with direct lung hits, unless you are working in a kitchen or food processing plant. Even then you arent taking direct lung inhales of it.

Not sure why it so cool to do, but i can't judge since I started smoking cigs for one reason or another, but really wish I had just inhaled air since.

Ramble over, continue on and enjoy your choices.

An additional beauty of vaping that I really wish we could share with the general public is that many folks do not *have* to inhale to get the full benefits of vaping. As we have all discussed, nicotine absorbtion through the mouth and nose has been noted by a large number of vapers. Flavor benefit of course exists within the mouth and nose. So even if the lung inhalation safety is unknown or even questionable...hey, many do not have to do it for vaping to be pleasurable and help get someone off the stinkies. I also support and understand the lung inhale, and I also think the sensation may be key to getting folks to switch over. But the mouth inhale and absorbtion of nicotine really deserves further study and sharing with the public in general, IMO.
