I've got 5 of the 8. #3 is one of hubby's favorites if it's what I'm thinking of. The soundtrack has a lot of great songs!

Other hints...
#3: Biker-hippie adventures in the deep south that don't end well.
#7: They're too far away to tell for sure, but those figures in the distance might just be gnashing their terrible teeth and rolling their terrible eyes.

Didn't care for #4, 5 & 8

I'm at the other end of the spectrum concerning #4 and #5. I think they're excellent movies!

I thought #8 was interesting stylistically, and that the story wasn't bad. I liked it, but I wouldn't buy it.

1. I had always heard your entire life flashes in front of your eyes the second before you die. First of all, that one second isn't a second at all, it stretches on forever, like an ocean of time... For me, it was lying on my back at Boy Scout camp, watching falling stars... And yellow leaves, from the maple trees, that lined our street... I guess I could be pretty ...... off about what happened to me... but it's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. 3. The guy from The Shining seems kinda straight compared to his costars.
4. The movie title is the antithesis of that comedy and its sequel that stars an older Walter Mathau and Jack Lemmon.
5. #1: I got a pretty bad case of cancer.
   #2: [yawns] How long you gonna last?
   #1: Not long.
   #2: A month? A year?
   #1: About six weeks. Let me get to the point, the three of you and your mother are all I've got and I love you more than anything.
   [Chas scoffs and mock laughs]
