Prepare to be quizzifiicated! :D

I think there should be at least a couple of easy ones in there this week. Have a look and give it a go! :)

So, which of the movies below can you identify?

Good luck!

Big fan of number 4. You know what happens to nosy kitty-cats? ....5 is also obviously a classic :)
Haven't seen 7, but I know the rest.

Isn't that fellows instead of kitty-cats, I think the cat reference is right before that line.
I've always imagined it must have felt a little odd having your director sticking a knife in your nose. :D

Sorry I haven't been around to tend to the thread this weekend, but I had a massive list of things that needed to get done. As a result, I've barely touched the computer for a couple of days.

So, yeah, sorry for the lack of hint posts and whatnot, but sometimes real life kinda gets in the way, y'know? :)

Anyway, it's answer time!

1. Christmas Vacation
2. Army of Darkness
3. A League of Their Own
4. Chinatown
5. The Godfather
6. Ghostbusters
7. Monsters vs. Aliens
8. Office Space

Thanks for playing, everybody!

    in a cave, eh?
    Hints:

    1. A Christmas classic.

"Hey! If any of you are looking for any last-minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here tonight. I want him brought from his happy holiday slumber over there on Melody Lane with all the other rich people and I want him brought right here, with a big ribbon on his head, and I want to look him straight in the eye and I want to tell him what a cheap, lying, no-good, rotten, four-flushing, low-life, snake-licking, dirt-eating, inbred, overstuffed, ignorant, blood-sucking, dog-kissing, brainless, di--less, hopeless, heartless, fat-a--, bug-eyed, stiff-legged, spotty-lipped, worm-headed sack of monkey sh-- he is! Hallelujah! Holy sh--! Where's the Tylenol?"
    2. "Alright you Primitive Screwheads, listen up! You see this? This... is my boomstick! The twelve-gauge double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about a hundred and nine, ninety five. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right. Shop smart. Shop S-Mart. You got that?"
    3. "Are you crying? Are you crying? ARE YOU CRYING? There's no crying! THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL!"
    4. Evelyn: She's my daughter.
      [Jake slaps Evelyn]
Jake: I said I want the truth!
      Evelyn: She's my sister...
      [slap]
      Evelyn: She's my daughter...
      [slap]
      Evelyn: My sister, my daughter.
      [More slaps]
Jake: I said I want the truth!
Evelyn: She's my sister AND my daughter!

Turns out that other movie wasn't the only one that where you just couldn't handle the truth.
    5. "I'm gonna make him an offer he won't refuse."
    6. "We've been going about this all wrong. This Mr. Stay Puft's okay! He's a sailor, he's in New York; we get this guy laid, we won't have any trouble!"
    7. animated

The President of the United States (Stephen Colbert): Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants.
    8. Did you spot the red stapler in the pic?
