It's Friday again... Time to quiz!

Most of the unrelated images this week are from really good movies, IMO, and at least three of them should be really easy to get. Go ahead, have a look for yourself! :D

There are eight screenshots below. Most of them should be fairly recognizable if you've seen the films. So, which of these movies can you identify?

Please answer with movie numbers only, not titles..

Good luck!

As usual, I'll post the answers Sunday morning-ish.

I only know 1,2 & 7! Did I miss the easy ones!!! ??
Well, I pretty much thought #2, #6, and #7 would be the easiest movies to identify. So, you got two out of the three. :)

Yeah, #6 is a pretty iconic scene. It's been parodied a bunch of times. :)
This. A thousand times this. :D

While I'm at it, I'll also mention that I don't expect many will be able to ID #8. It's adapted from a book that most people probably thought would be near-impossible to translate to film.

Hinting and bumping...

#2: While drifting leisurely at sea, the movie's main character and his boat pass through an odd mist. Shortly after that, the man has a chance encounter with a chemical agent. Then, he begins to notice that his clothes no longer fit right.

#3: Daniel Day-Lewis plays a character who was raised by Indians, (second from the right in the screenshot). During the French and Indian war in North America, he falls in love with the daughter of a British officer, played by Madeline Stowe, (second from the left in the screenshot).

#4: The "Marv" segment of this Robert Rodriguez graphic novel adaptation features a hulking Mickey Rourke fighting an evil, ninja-like Elijah Wood, (pictured).

#8: "Listen: Billy Pilgrim has come unstuck in time."

Hope these help!

    in a cave, eh?
More hints if you need 'em:

    1. A dark comedy about a woman, Tracey Ullman, who resents her husband, Kevin Kline for cheating on her for so long that she conspires to kill him rather than give him the satisfaction of a divorce. Only trouble is, she hires two complete idiots to do the dirty work and he doesn't even realize a problem despite numerous attempts to kill him.
    2. Richard Matheson, who wrote several great Twilight Zone episodes wrote the novel and screenplay about a man who passes through a strange fog created by nuclear testing and subsequently realizes he's gradually getting smaller, all the way down to insect size and smaller, still.
    3. Daniel Day Lewis plays Nathaniel Hawkeye who, with his adoptive Native American family, help escort Colonel Edmund Munro's daughters from 1757 Albany to their father's British Army fort.
    4. Mostly black-and-white crime thriller primarily based on 3 graphic novels by Frank Miller. Bruce Willis tries to stop a child-killer from raping and killing a young girl. Mickey Rourke is a parolee looking to avenge the death of his girlfriend. Brittany Murphy, Alexis Bledel and Rosario Dawson are prostitutes who, with the help of Clive Owen, find themselves at war with mercenaries hired by the mob, all under police radar, after they find they've killed a corrupt policeman.
    5. A sequel of sorts to the Grindhouse movies where Danny Trejo is an ex-Mexican Federale now down on his luck who is set up to be the fall guy in an murder-for-hire job on a corrupt Texas Senator that was engineered to fail. He goes after the man who hired him and then threw him under the bus.
    6. John Cusack is LLoyd Dobler, an academic underachiever and kick-boxing (sport of the future) enthusiast who courts the brainy Ione Skye. Unfortunately, her corrupt businessman father doesn't approve of him (Lloyd). That's Lloyd playing "In Your Eyes" by Peter Gabriel just outside her bedroom window.
    7. (In a deep, flat [autistic?] voice) I reckon what youah wantin' to know is why I'm in here. Reckon the reason I'm in here is cause I've killed somebody, mm hmm.
    8. Billy Pilgrim has become unstuck in time and shifts between his time spent as a POW in WWII Dresden; kidnapped by aliens and transported to the planet Tralfalmadore for observation along with B-movie starlet, Valerie Perrine; and his mundane life following the war. The author made a cameo on Rodney Dangerfield's Back to School.
