So I'm covered on the hardware side from both the battery and carto/clearo end, but the only flavors that have weened me off of analogs have been menthol tobacco flavors. I'm looking for a "gateway" juice to get me into some more exotic flavors. i don't have a major sweet-tooth, and I prever higher PG and a good TH. I would love some suggestions to help me expand my palette!

Clove juice. I too love my menthol and went with a peppermint and menthol combo then onto a chocolate mint and now a cinnamon clove. The flavors seem to be intense like my menthol was. Clove or cinnamon flavors will give a good throat hit too. There are many other combinations that might be great for you maybe a strawberry menthol or any other fruit mixed with menthol.

I miss cloves (but hate cinnamon)! Any vendor suggestions?

I really like Johnson Creek Smokejuice. They are a bit pricey but there is no steeping time, they ship quick and have quality flavors. Their redoak line is vg and can be a bit sweeter than the pg/vg mixed line. I really enjoy their chocolate truffle and their swiss dark these are the only chocolate flavors that are not sweet and I really love them. I really dont care for their redoak Tennessee Cured its too sweet. The original TC is very good though. I love this vendor their juices are smokey flavored unlike other companies. It can be an acquired taste for some and for others they love them.

After my BWB order arrives, JC was next on my list - perfect timing! Thank you for the suggestions, because I had no idea what I was going to order from them. I've been a pure Halo guy always. You made my quest a little easier, really - much appreciated! :D

BWB is good I have a bottle of honey Flue that has been sitting in a closet for months and I just broke it out a few days ago and it is the best honey flavor I have ever had. The honey is sweet and the tobacco is fresh and clean no bitterness or smokey flavor at all. I really dislike their fruits though. I am still working on trying to get rid of some strawberry from 6 mos ago it seems to smell of fresh berry but tastes like a strawberry seltzer water with only essence not really a flavor almost perfumey. BWB has some flavors I would like to try been thinking about orchard frost I think i might like it fruit, tobacco, cinnamon. GL with your new flavors.

Try it last! lol, you have to see what its better than! Also, no Casa? you have to try casa if you're trying BWB. its like a crime if you don't!

Ah, the crescendo method. Got it.

Casablanca - I don't do well with straight-up tobaccos that aren't menthol (or with some kind of unique added flavor). It sounds like a regular tobacco?

Ok, can I just ask a question? Did you ever taste any tobacco flavor, at all, when you used all the different menthol based tobacco flavors? I bought two bottles of menthol flavored tobacco flavors and they really went THE F overboard on how much they put in. Just wonder if its industry standard to really over do it with the menthol?

2 years ago, this was what took the most time to find. I don't remember any of the vendors by name, but all the menthols literally had no underlying tabacco flavors to them. That is when I found Halo, and tried the 3 they had at the time - the names were different back then, but they were what is now called Truepure, Cool Mist, and Menthol Ice. I loved them all, but True Pure had the most profound mix of tobacco and menthol to me. I just got some Mystic in from Halo, and just like it says on the site, it has absolutely no tobacco undertone - just straight up menthol. I'm now using Mystic to cut other straight up tobacco flavors for some unique blends. For example, now I'm vaping a mixture of HX3, Mystic, and True Pure (3:3:1) for a sweeter vape.

This guy (http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-reviews/330929-menthol-quest-perfect-menthol-experience.html#post7173389) seems to have the same preferences, I remember his posts from a long time ago, and I am using his recommendations to create my future shopping list on the tobacco/menthol side.

Hope this helps!

There are lots of different types of flavors out there, and I dont know what type of flavor you are into, but I too started out looking for menthol tobacco flavors because thats what I had smoked(menthol cigs), so I figured I would absolutely need to replicate the ENTIRE smoking experience in EVERY possible way including, most importantly nicotine and flavor.

Well, I was right about needing to replicate nicotine, but wrong about needing to replicate flavor in order to quit. As I have pointed out in other posts, in my original order for my Ego-T kit, I had also ordered 2 types of menthol tobacco e-liquid, plain menthol, and plain tobacco to be mixed. The order came in a very hot day, and it sat in the dark brown UPS truck from 5:24am to 5:32pm when it was delivered, and I just got home from work so I opened the box and the contents were all about 110-120 degrees Fahrenheit! The liquids were HOT! Now I dont know for sure if that was the problem, but every juice that was tobacco flavored had a nasty smell and taste to it that made it undesirable. So I had no good flavor to vape, so I was forced to just mix nicotine with diluent(VG) to about 12mg/ml and vape that for the next 2 days with NO flavor added to it at all! And it worked, I quit smoking. Then those e-juices steeped with their lids off and the nasty taste/smell went away, and the regular tobacco flavored juice actually tasted good! It's a strong basic tobacco flavor, and I now use it as the base of a DIY e-liquid blend. I am getting 30ml's of it later today in the mail.

But the juice I use now as my "away from home" all day vape is a tobacco flavor with very, very little menthol, its almost unnoticeable. You might want to try the Halo Torque 56 and Freedom Juice. The Torque 56 is a bold tobacco flavor with a very slight sweetness, and the Freedom Juice is also pretty bold, but with a slightly more complex flavor and a little bit more sweetness, but the sweetness isnt overbearing in either. You can even mix the if you want, or try adding another flavor to them like maybe a little menthol. I tried Halo's Ice Menthol, and its a strong menthol flavor. I hear their Newpure or whatever its called is also a very strong menthol too.

I mix the Totally Wicked tobacco e-liquid(not the red or gold label DIY flavors) with some Freedom Juice, just a little of Aromaejuice's Nuport menthol flavor(not much), and a little of Vaping Zone's honey flue cured to add a bit of sweetness, and MAN is it good! I also add PG and VG because 2 of those juices are concentrated.(Nuport and honey flue cured).

I had a back and forth with another member who said he made a fantastic blend from Halo's H3X and Newpure. He said he didnt really like either of them too much on their own, but together they are great..... I will try it.

Oh yeah, if you want a good fruit flavor try Plume Room's Summer Peach. Its not like too sweet and syrupy. It tastes like peach. Liquid Express's Taboo is a good popular juice that is sweet but not overbearing. I like Delaware Vapors "Smarty Pants", which tastes exactly like the sweet/sour candy, and I like their PeachBerry, but its light.

You might like HHV's Gandalf. Its super popular here, and although its not a favorite of mine, it does taste good. Its got a desert-like flavor of mocha and a slight coffee flavor IMO. It seems that more people like it than not. You can get their 4 pack 3ml sampler for like $8 too, and try 4 flavors from them.

Ha! That was me, dude. :) I also added some Mystic to it. I posted my new mix above! :)

Thanks for all of the recommendations!

It sounds like a regular tobacco but its definitely not. It does have a sweet turkish tobacco base but the cocoa blends really well with it. Its really in a class of its own and is BWB's most popular flavor outside of the elusive RY4. Definitely worth a shot and if you don't like it someone will gladly take it off your hands :)
