Is today the day we'll get a new one?

I have to say that if the Madlibs thread were to reappear, I would be very curious to know the reason for the absence. I always enjoyed the fun of participating in the Madlibs, but the strange way that this thread was just dropped and ignored leaves a bad taste in my mouth. This is probably exacerbated by the fact that I won the contest in late October, but never received my prize. I sent TopNotch a PM in late November and never got a reply. My correspondence was friendly and cordial, but now it just seems like too much.

For the record, I have been lucky enough to win 3 other contests since I joined ECF (10 months ago), and had great experiences dealing with those vendors...and I have done business with all of them since. Who knows, maybe there is a good explanation. But I am not too optimistic.

Remark I'm sure there is a good reason for the absence.

If there's a problem Tommy has with ecf that is why he didn't answer your pm. I know he's been very busy with his retail store and assigned one of his employees to oversee this thread. I'm sure he'll make it right with your prize.

EDIT: I contacted them to inquire about my prize from October via their website, and I encouraged them to check in with this thread.

Yes! Glad it worked and glad I could help. I have found them very responsive to contact from the web site. Not so much here... but hey, it's just a game here. I miss the fun game!

Yeah, I know. I guess when they got their storefront, they forgot about ECF. I really can't blame them, they probably get a lot more business in the store, plus, they've probably made a lot of friends who come in every day.
