My home and my heart are in Washington State. My pillow, for the next 8 days, is in Afghaninstan. I'm 8 1/2 time zones ahead of Cincinatti.

Hi, I did figure you were in the service somewhere......wow.....ok. My brother is I guess a 'lifer' in the Navy and a few years ago, he became a Chief Petty Officer, next thing was they sent him to Afghanistan, where he served for six months. He's in Norfolk now.

Where will you go next? I really love what I've seen of Washington state. I've really only been to Olympia and another place north of Pendleton, OR, can't remember right now. Olympia area was very beautiful.......I visited a friend there for several days.

I retired after 24 years of Army Green. I'm a civilian working alongside the Soldiers. I've been to Olympia, nice place.

I've been all over linkedin, tracking down people I've worked with. There is opportunity out there. I can't think of any newspaper that does not have a help wanted section. I've dug graves, I've burned human waste, I'll take the jobs other people think are beneath them. That is why I laugh all the way to the bank.

We're up to 32 now and have lost quite a bit of snow. If it's not gone today then it will be tomorrow.
