Aaaaaaaaaaaaawwwww! Presh! I used to have a Chow German Shepard mix. She was the cutest! She like to bring dead mice to our door.wellll, the brew community has good taste so it's been easy to pop in and have a little chat.

Our Derk is the furthest from hunter/working-dog lol. noo, he'd be quite afraid if a mouse came up from the basement.. my new kitty KiKi would be overjoyed, however. lol. DERK would cower in a corner. Derk is the type of dog that has learned every single trick in the dog training manual without us ever even trying to teach him anything. lol. He's so smart he's just learned what the commands are asking of him. He knows every trick in the book. He'll shake, (switch paws when we say "other paw" and he'll switch paws for days if we keep alternating "give me paw" and "other paw" lol. He'll sit, lay, roll, cover his eyes/play dead, he even howls if we howl. lol. he barks at every bell, ring, ping, and ding on the TV and at every squirrel, dog, walker, and car outside. We don't let him free, and he'll occasionally run away, darting deep into the forest that surrounds our house, (so deep that we can no-longer hear his rustling in the leaves) and he'll be laying on our front porch waiting to come in 4-5 hours later. As-if he could remember the way back. lol scares us so much. great dog.
