We've got 48*F here in CT this morning. High today is 64*F. Mid 60's and low 70's for the week....NOT too bad!
We have 44 here with a freeze warning for tonight. Upcoming temps not bad for early October.

Hey Mac. How close is that typhoon to you?.....Or has it passed already?
One went by last nite - the center was a couple hundred miles or so out. We got some rain and a little wind from it. Some of the outer islands got a lot more. The rain is going to mess with parts of mainland quite a bit - there's places up there that have had way too much in the last couple months.
Got another one headed this way. Current forecast shows up to late Fri when it'll be a bit shy of 300 miles from here. Supposed to going into a turn at that point so should stay a good 200 miles out when it passes on Sat. But those forecasts could change at any time between now and then.
As long as it don't speed up and get too close, I'm on an airplane Friday heading Stateside for a couple weeks. Been through plenty and this place is built to handle them. I just don't want it to mess with the trip.
Just as I thought that I was going to enjoy a cup of coffee.....I realized that we had NO milk in the fridge 
. My son wouldn't be happy when he wakes up, and can't have HOT cocoa, first thing . I ran to the store and grabbed a gallon. I thought that I was a little crazy going out quick in shorts and a T-shirt.....Then I pass by a guy jogging, in shorts and NO shirt....
. It's about 46-47*F right now.
