We had 3 degrees this morning but that has dropped to 2 now. Weather says around 35 today and 40 tomorrow. It's a big improvement over yesterday anyway.

Ours just went down 2*. It's now 18*F here.

Better than yesterday so far. Yesterday it was 11 when I got up and dropped to 6.

That is fall in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I love that section of the Blue Ridge Parkway, the Linville Viaduct.

Here is a picture (not mine) of the city park in my favorite little town off of the parkway.

My favorite little inn. They are great people and the rooms are so cozy.

I'm hoping to get back up there in September or October for at least a night.

It is the Linn Cove Viaduct on the side of Grandfather Mountain in NC. A lot of people (including me) mistakenly call it the Linville Viaduct because it is so close to Linville Falls and Linville Caverns.

There is a great trail that runs underneath the viaduct.
