Go for it. I doubt they'd package them with super low ohms.

Well the mech will fire at 4.2 volts didn't want to burn the head

Hmmm might want to start it out with a partially drained battery so you're closer to 3.7 just in case.

No, but once you break it in you should have a rough idea of the resistance.
