I am busily steeping (busily, really?) my first bottles from BWB. The Malty Toffee, Bacco and Cherry tobacco are all hunkered down in the beautifully finished, hand made mahogany box that was made by my dad. Out of sight but not out of mind they snuggle together (snuggle? they are plastic bottles forcrisakes!) in the darkness of the box awaiting March 11, 2013 for their christening (ok, that's just silly) to my cartomizers. Ahhhh.....to be or not to.....anyway........
No intentionally steeping my BWB juices because I get so worried that I might run out (yeah right) that I always keep a 60ml bottle of each as a back up so they're always well steeped inadvertently:laugh:

Hi there Thren! Hi ya' tigs!

Yes...I'll be selling off most of our belongings, packing up the fam, and heading back to Okinawa. I'm excited to go back...but NOT exited about the moving part. :sigh:

You headed to Torii Station or Kadena AFB? Other? I pulled 6 months TDY there back in '88. Was attached to 1st Battalion - 1st Special Forces Group. Loved the little town of Yomitan right outside Torii Station. I envy you being able to get great sushi and REAL Japanese cuisine. Nothing stateside has matched anything I got there or when I taught on the Japanese mainland back in '98-'00.

Good morning all! Well, it's morning, the good part is subjective. Got up to take the dog out and that damn white stuff is falling from the sky again, BLEH! Fortunately it's only gonna be a dusting, or such is the forecast.

Waiting for the morning meds to kick in. Stiffer than a board today. Think my wife broke my hip last nite ;) Such is the hazard of marrying a much younger woman, well not really a hazard but...you know what I mean ;) And all the crazy stuff I did in my 20's like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane 462 times probably hasn't helped matters either. Was really fun at the time, but now my body it like, "WTH were you thinking???" LOL

Time for another Loratab and a hot shower to loosen up and maybe a coating of Absorbine Jr. Then I might be able to move somewhat normally again and not look like Groucho Marx walking around the house LOL.

Good morning!

Kadena is my destination...but traveled around the entire island during my last tour. Conducted a lot of joint exercises and training. Was thinking about the food last night...Big D's, Kitakesen, CoCo's...has me drooling already. I've missed the ramen houses, sushi spots, and just all around good eats!

Here's a fave....(will probably show up pretty small)

You lucky dog! Cool deal bro, Kadeana is a great base. That's where we took off from for the jump training I was remediating those SF guys. (I was Jump Master qualified with my combat jump star from Grenada. I was stationed at Ft. Stewart/Ft Benning 1/75 Ranger Regiment) They had so many FUBAR'd jumps there, me and a team were assigned to go and re-teach them how to properly jump and quit getting injured LOL. They had become so spoiled by being dropped in via helos and were breaking bones all over the place! But I was very happy to go and work with members that had some time in-service and take a break from the cherry training at Ft. Benning!

The AFB's always had the best chow! That's why when I was stationed at Schofield Barracks I always went over to Wheeler Airfield to eat. Back in those days, the Air Force employed civilians to run their chow halls as opposed to the "slop slingers" the army had. They were more like restaurants than the army chow halls.

All this talk of food has reminded me, I need some lunch LOL.
