MS Explorer has become such a freakin' resource hog that I'm putting it in my trashcan and replacing it with Firefox

Firefox is fun. So many add ons to play with.
My favorites are my No Script, Adblock Plus, and Kaspersky URL Advisor.
I have more, though.
I won't do Google Chrome because Google are our undeclared evil overlords.

That's what my brother suggested. I'm going over to his house in a few days and I'll check it out while I'm there. Thanks, MatrixTech 
Good choice, Google Chrome I think uses the less resources..
I reccomend firefox. You will also be less likley to get those viruses! I use it on a lot of old slow computers at work, and it gives us NO problems. Google chrome is not as easy to use IMO.
Google chrome doesn't use as much resources, but that's because it's designed for speed by being as 'stripped down' as possible. So it's not quite as user-friendly as other browsers either. Also, Google's goal is to control all information on earth...
Actually it's Safari with the less resources..lol
I mostly use FireFox and Chrome myself...

Firefox has worked for me since I left Netscape years ago. MSIE has always sucked, IMO.
Uh oh. I'm in trouble then. I use Google Earth a lot
I think you were joking but I wanted to be sure. GE will work with most any browser. btw Firefox rocks!
Another vote for firefox here, the add ons make it brilliant. I loooove adblock
i use Palemoon wich is based on firefox but optimixed for windows

Add in AddBlockPlus with a couple of these block lists The Official EasyList Website, and your good to go!
You can also get a plug in that will use the IE renderig engine for those sites that are not FireFox friendly.

Wow, I haven't used IE in 10 years ... maybe more.
Heck I havent' owned a windows box since 1998
Firefox or Safari for me. Once you get used to your favorite add-ons you can never go back.
Not impressed with chrome, but didn't give it much of a chance.
