Now dont get me wrong sooner, i used to be the cheeseburger lovenist girl you'd ever meet, but other than a few accidents here and there i havent had meat in four years. Ive thought about giving it up, but by this point if i eat something with chicken stock in it im sick for like three days. I cant eat the cakes because most of the fillings are made with animal fats and it has the same effect on me as meat does. Its a cruel joke.

oh, so it wasnt something you wanted to do but rather something you had to do cause it made you physically sick....did i understand right? i feel bad that happened to you and pray it never happens to another soul...mainly me,lol.
really though, did it come on all of a sudden? is there a chance you can ever partake in a burger again? i would make a horrible vegitarian cause i dont like many veggies. i like corn, peas, green beans but they must be cooked with bacon and beef bullion for a couple hours, those are the ones i like but dont eat them but maybe once a month or so.

I can't imagine life without chicken. However, I saw a movie/documentary the other night called Food Inc, and I am telling you that it has definitely made me think twice about some of the foods I have been digesting. But to give up chicken....I just don't know if I could do that..even after watching that movie.

Cina - Do yourself a favor and never ever watch a PETA video, seriously its like the worst thing ever!

Aaaaah the tale of my vegitarianism.....this will be the short(ish) and sweet(ish) version.

My first husband was A GIANT JERK FACE! Granted, I was an idiot for thinking that would change, but basically he made his love for me conditional on several things. I'm not the kind of girl that will do anything to make a fella happy, but for the most part I at least tried to meet him halfway. After our wedding he made me more and more angry on a daily basis, but I prefer to hit just a little below the belt. Since I cooked for us, and made his lunch for work and did all the grocery shopping I realized how much my meat loving groom would HATE eating tofu and quinoa pilaf on a daily basis. So I did what any self respecting vindictive girl with a sense of humor would do. I stopped eating meat......and so did he! After we got divorced it just kind of stuck. I had a lot of vegitarian friends and we would get together every sunday for a "family" meal, so that helped me get through the burger withdrawls and bacon shakes, and now it's just part of who I am. You'd be suprised how good some of this food can be when you know what you're doing!
