Aside from the fact that taste is so subjective, my daughter and I found that different hardware does affect taste. We went from using cartomizers for almost two years to using Evods and Protank 2 Minis in March, and wound up adjusting our pg/vg ratios, playing with flavor shots, and, in my case, lowering my nicotine level from 18 to 12. It took a little experimentation, but we are happy with the results. MBV is still our eliquid vendor of choice, and the fact that they offer a good range of pg/vg and nicotine options really helped when we changed hardware.
