Mt Baker Vapor Caramel Apple?

I received it in the mail today and it's hard about a 4 day steep time from when it was shipped, and it kind of tastes off. Like. Mediciney and chemicaly. I know I'm gonna let it steep some more, I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if it ultimately got better.

I ordered it and I really like it but I've never had any other caramel apple flavor to compare it to. When I first got it I put it in a warm water for about 4 hours, shook it really good several times and then let it breathe with the cap off for nearly 24 hours. I didn't touch it for about a week after that. I am just about to finish the bottle and will order more when I reduce my juice inventory a tad.

Did you happen to try it straight out of the bottle, Lynn? Just so I know my taste buds aren't completely insane

No, I didn't. I know the taste that you are speaking of though. I got that same taste with the Pear and Lemon Bar (from Mt. Baker) and I'm afraid to try them now. It wasn't exactly a gasoline taste but it was strong and nasty.

I know it! I'm hoping a little steep time will even it out.

Thankfully I have a bit of caramel candy from a local B&M and I can just mix it with the 1/4 tank of the caramel apple. see if that doesn't dampen the taste til it's tolerable.

I vape MBV's caramel apple almost daily. Have never had a bottle that didn't taste good. I usually order about a month ahead (home inventory wise) so I'm sure every bottle has sat (steeped) for three, four or five weeks before I start using it. So perhaps the shelf time does help.

I'm a big fan of their Dutch Apple pie too.

Thats what I'm thinking. It's probably just the steep time. I won't be mad either way. the freckled lemonade tastes amazing right out of the bottle, and the freebie of wintergreen (even though I hate any flavor that I once used in my chew.. Grizzly Wintergreen, tastes EXACTLY like it) it definitely tastes like wintergreen. So I'll just chock it up to a waiting period for it to get better.

I used to get it from Mt Baker and give it a month and it was good then I tried MOV and really liked theirs, still needs a couple weeks but it's pretty tasty.

Like y'all said. this one might actually need steep time. I've never really gotten a juice from them before, always bought from my B&M or when I did get it shipped, it was ready to rock out of the bottle because most of where I ordered from was from Mid or West country and took a few days to get to my door.
