We all know that MBV has disturbingly low prices, and many of us are probably familiar with the phrase, Good, cheap, fast- pick two. The plethora of reviews indicated that we could in fact get all three, but my skeptical brain figured that if the juices are good, prices are low and shipping is fast, then Customer Service would be their weak spot.
I was wrong.
On 4/17, I placed my first order for 11-15ml juices and some empty bottles. I got confirmation of my order and everything was exactly right. As stated in so many posts, shipping was super fast and my order was delivered ahead of schedule (according to tracking) on 4/20, to my office, so I didnt get my mitts on it until Monday.
When I felt the package, it seemed oddly wrong, and upon opening the bag, I found 2-50ml and 1-15ml bottles inside. I checked the packing slip and sure enough, I had been sent the order one number before mine. Bummer.
I went to the website to see if there was a phone # to call, and a pop-up appeared, offering Live Chat with Josh. Being a bit of a Luddite, I was confused, but I clicked on it to see what would happen. It was shockingly easy to use this method to explain the situation, and Josh was a pleasure.
He told me my order would be sent out right away with a free sample and to keep what I had received. I told him that there was already the free sample of Pooh in the package I had so another was unnecessary, but if he wanted to throw in a Needle Tip for Dropper Bottle (69 cents) instead, that would be really cool. He said he would send the tip AND a freebie WHAT???!!! At that point, I started to feel like I was taking advantage of him, so I just thanked him and said goodbye.
Two days later (TWO DAYS!!!!), I have my order! How is that even possible? Okay, so someone got confused and instead of a needle tip I got an extra drippy tip for a bottle, but really, do I care? It was a freebie after all. My actual order is perfect and the free juice sample isnt Pooh- its Texas Sweet Tea!
AND, by having me keep the first package, I get to try flavors I NEVER would have ordered and will share with my friends (HUGE bottles!).
Anyone who has run a business knows that sometimes *stuff* happens. Nobody is perfect. Its how a business responds to these glitches that can make them great or not.
Mt Baker Vapor has a new fan. Thank you!
Happy Wednesday!
