I posted yesterday of an issue with fraudulent charges to my account following a purchase from MT. Baker Vapor. My original thread has been locked, however, I just wanted to update everyone. James called me immediately after he saw my thread on here. I was unable to take his call as I was in meetings all day, however I called him back this evening and straightened everything out. Here is what I got from my phone call.

1. This guy and his company are the real deal.

2. His site is secure and so is the card processing company he employs. He called in the big boys after he read my post and email and had his site and the processing company tested. It was good. No flaws.

He took the time to explain everything to me, and his thoughts. It could have been a random hit on our account from someone with our info from some other way. Now, I have never used this account online ever, not once. This is what is bothering me. Mt Baker Vapor has over 23,000 registered customers, and if there was a flaw on their site, more people would be having this problem, and they aren't. James assured me he is legit, and from talking to him, I believe him. I do believe that there is a 1% chance this may have happened there, but it can happen anywhere.

I will continue to purchase from him and his company, and I sincerely thank them for looking into this.

That's great to hear. But since it was the first time you used the card.
Either Miss Cleo or the dude from Psych hacked your account.
I've heard the Mt Baker story, a bunch of times in the last few weeks.
Not going to take a chance. Their juice could be amazing.
Nice that he gave you personalized serivce after the fact.
This thread will probably closed too!

Well I am sure you guys heard about it but there were problems with an isp a ways back don't remember which one but they had a person hijack an entire isp server and were cloning all the data.. Never heard exactly what happened but there was a lot of stolen data was as far as I had heard about it.

Edit: So far so good with mbv for me ordered from them the most out of everyone so far and no issues! And I agree about there service and speed.

It happens. Hell, my aunt had her information stolen at Sears 20 years ago. I've had fraudulent charges on my card twice in the last 5 years, but never from vaping. Both times, I contacted my bank and disputed the charges. The charges were removed from the account, the check card was frozen and a new card was issued immediately. Unless you move to using only cash for every transaction, your information can be stolen anywhere. It's simply more prevalent on the internet.

As for MBV, my all day vape is their Extreme Ice. And though I've never talked to James outside of the chat feature on the MBV website, I get the impression he is a very friendly and helpful person. The OP's story only reinforces this. I'll definitely continue to purchase from them in the future and I'll recommend them to anyone looking for good quality juice.

Glad to see he got back with you! I'm sure no upstanding company wants things like this to happen to their customers. We all take chances whenever we make purchases online. I'd never purchased as much online as I do since I started vaping! That's the reason why I'm just going to invest in a prepaid visa for my purchases from now on. No hacker is gonna keep me from my vape supplies! Nobody!!!
