How do you like them?
I think they're pretty good, and I would recommend them :) I don't know what improvements were made between V2 and V5, but I like the Vamo. I do get the "rattlesnake" noise from atties sometimes, and the connector was weak in the V2. I hope they fixed the connector since then, but I will say that both of mine have no issues....I do make sure to not crank my toppers onto the mod, though. Just tight enough for it to make constant contact and sit securely.

Does anyone here have any experience with the Vamo V5?

I like mine much better than my V2s.

I'll quote something I posted in another thread:

I was using SS V2s for many months. I got a SS V5 and the 2s now sit at my workstation for dry-burning coils.
I like it enough that I just ordered another. The screen's better and I like that it shows the wattage I'm hitting at.
I used J Wraps on the first two but got a SerenityGear leather sleeve and use those now instead of wraps.

I always use 18650 mode so that's the size mod sleeves I use. The flexi sleeve has a built in loop.

All those wabbits you wouldn't have to worry about goin' hungry ;)

Yuck!! I havent had to eat that since i was a young child, thank god! My mom was so bad at asking us if we liked dinner after we were finished, THEN she would inform us what it was. What a way to learn to be cautious of your food!

I grew up with the same thing...being told what "dinner" was after we ate it...but now I'll pretty much try anything once

Yet more snow tomorrow :(

I like my Vamo V5. I like my SID. I'd buy either again. Each has plusses and minuses. For about the same price is the MVP 2 which is another good choice. All are a nice step up from the eGo vv style (spinner or twist) and a leap forward from the fixed voltage eGo. The cheapest of these would be the MVP 2 since it has an internal battery. Either the Vamo or SID would require an additional $40 ish investment in 2 high current IMR batteries and a charger.
