New to the forums and vaping. There is a lot to learn. I bought my ego-t ce4 starter kit and so far have had no problems. I see many people do have problems with this one though. For now I am just using the disposable ce4 clearomizers until I can get a little more familiar with the rebuildable ones. What tanks do you suggest for a newbie, that are rebuildable, but fairly easy to learn??

Hi Danny, welcome! It really depends on what you mean by rebuilding and your comfort level. Also depends on what mod (read battery) you will be running it off of. I'd suggest moving up to something like an Evod or Protank Mini 2 tank from where you are as you can run those on the ego-t battery you have. You can easily rebuild the coilheads on those and they vape really well!

If you decide to move up to a vv/vw device then the possibilities really open up and the I would bet most of the suggestions you would get would be for a KFL+ (Kafun Lite Plus). Very easy to build coils for and the performance is out of this world.

Have fun with it, ask any questions you have, and good luck!

Welcome to the ECF... My opinion below, although you will get many more great opinions on this topic :)

Vision brand Vivi Nova (or mini Vivi Nova), very similar to the ce4, they don't leak, and last a good long while. The replacement coils run about $2 each... Another good one is the Kanger Mini Protank2, I like it as well...

Hello :) Glad your stuff is working! I would suggest maybe giving the kanger EVOD clearomizers a try. Or maybe an iclear16. You just buy extra atomizer heads, un-screw the old one and screw in the new one. That's pretty easy without having to worry about wrapping coils making wicks and all that fun stuff. Keeping it fairly simple at the start helps you avoid some massive frustration :vapor:

By "rebuildable", I'm guessing you mean the coils can be replaced with pre-made factory-built coils? There's many options available, so here are a few which have been on the market for a few months and appear to be consistant performers:

Aspire CE5, mini-nova, vivi-nova. These all use the same dual-bottom-coil head which is replaceable. Filled from the bottom; coil replaced from the bottom.

Innokin iClear 16 and 30s. These are dual-top-coil which are replaceable. Each model has its own coil head replacement, so they are not intercompatible between models. Filled from the top, coils replaced from the bottom.

Kanger Protank-2, mini Protank-2, T3S, and Evod. These are all single-bottom-coil and the coil heads are intercompatible. The Protank-3 and mini Protank-3 is now a dual-bottom-coil and the heads are not compatible with the above. Filled from the bottom, coils replaced from the bottom.

Go to YouTube, and do a search for each make and model to see review/demos.
