I've got 6 eGo batts now and hate messing around with all these chargers. Is there a multi-charger available for them?

Something like this would totally rock -
510 Titan 5 Battery MEGA Charger

If you need more than 2 ego batts a day, you should get something bigger, like a mega ego, or a 1000mah ego, or a big battery mod.

I haven't seen any multi charger for an ego tho sorry dude.

Yea, I just ordered one from NitFitNation, and it has a 5 button master on/off, which should be pretty cool, but apparently it's reaaaaaally long, but we'll see.

edit: I'll update you if I remember :p

It looks to be about 1" longer than the stock 650maH battery.

The problem with multi-battery chargers is that they divide the current by the number of batteries being charge, so 2 batteries will take twice as long as 1 battery, or 5 batteries 5x as long. Kind of defeats the purpose...

Only way around that would be to have each battery separately regulated, which is basically 5 chargers stuck together at the 5x the cost, or have some electronics that sense how many batteries are being charged so its isn't sending 5x the power needed to one battery making it a mini rocket launcher. Again 5X the cost.

Honestly if you want to charge X number of batteries at the same time, buy X number of chargers. Its going to be the cheapest, most effective and versitile way you can do it.

You could consider buying more full kits.. You are going to need all the parts in the kit sooner or later anyhow. Considering the spare parts you get in the kit purchased separately, you would be getting another charger for next to nothing.

I'm a bit lost to the point anyhow, with an eGO it takes about 2 hours to charge. If you are able to discharge the one you are using in under 2 hours before the other one is charged, you are doing something rather wacky with it ;) Stop powering the patio lanterns with it ;)

I was thinking the same while reading the thread. I have four eGo batteries and two chargers, quite enough to have three fully charged batteries most of the time.

About charge time: 5 650mAh eGo batteries totally dead. 2 to 2 1/2 hours for me to charge. I don't know why people always say it will take longer. It never has for me. I have a 10 port charger and have put 6 eGo batts and 3 regular 510 batts on before and still got the normal charge times. IDK, maybe mine is magic.

LOL. Good point on the multi chargers. Someone needs to produce a quality product that doesn't split the already needlessly limited amperage across all charging bays. It doesn't take much more effort to create a device that it one main unit physically but contains 5 separate charging circuits for 5 separate cells.

Agreed. The 2 hour discharge rate vs the 1.5 hours it takes to charge a 650maH eGo battery would be fine for one person. There are two of us here. I have gone ahead and purchased more batteries and chargers and a PCC though to always have a full one on hand for each of us. Most of it is actually coming from you... ;)
