i would like a 510/901 charger, so i can charge mine and my girlfriends from one plug/one charger.... maybe even a duel 510 on top with a duel 901 on the bottom or something so two of each batteries can charge at once? damn, now you have me thinking but me being a weekend tinkerer im not sure if i can do all this:)

Lithium Ion / Lithium Polymer USB Battery Charger
A rather simple schematic that you can use to build a Lithium Ion/Polymer USB charger.
It looks complete and accurate to me. All you need to do is build the schematic, wire it up, and put it in a box.

What is the difference between a 510 and a 901? Is it just the size? Or do they use different battery technologies?

Are people interested in a multiple battery charger? I'm working on a BS in Digital Engineering and an Associates in Electrical. Building a multicharger is something I can do. Being frugal, and safe, are problems I like to solve.

My post count restricts my access to the appropriate forums.

I would love one as I have about 20 batts, LOL

adapters are cheap, the 510 - 10X charger too, why worry about a new invention ?

I was thinking of something like a 5 port charger. It would be wirelessly programmable with either a usb dongle or over wifi. On screen software would include setting custom voltage levels, current percentage of charge, time remaining, and alerts.
The Heaven Gifts charger would probably be a good place to start. Thanks for that.
