Multimeter suggestions?

For some reason the search function is not working on this site on my computer???

Anyway, any suggestions for an inexpensive but functional multi for our purposes here would be appreciated. Bonus points for a good source as well.

I have a screw-in coil resistance checker but I basically now need to check battery voltage and voltage drop when fired.

I'm not sure that you can use a traditional multimeter to check voltage under load unless you build some kind of adapter. This isn't a replacement for a good multimeter, but it will allow you to do what you're asking:

Moved to batteries and Chargers from Coil Builds

An Omnitester will check both ohms and battery voltage.

A 510 voltage meter will measure "under load" battery voltage.

A digital multimeter will check both ohms and batter voltage.

The Uni-T UT39B is a really good meter for cheap

Has accuracy of meters 4 time the price.

I picked up a 510 tank voltmeter, from zuluvapors.com. it's not accurate, but it's for the better. Compared to my quality meter, it reads 200mv lower. So when the battery is at 3.7, the tank reads 3.5. I've used it with and without the rba attached.
