Multipurpose mod, Dna 40 / unregulated combo

I built myself a dna 40 a month ago and I love it for the temp control, but I carry around my mech as well for when I need more power. So Ive been thinking that it would be great to have one box that could switch between the dna and unregulated mode, maybe with an internal switch and preferably with both using the same fire button. My electrical knowledge is a bit limited so i'm looking for input on how to do this safely and without risking frying the chip.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

You could just wire in a second manual switch that goes from the battery to the Atty and have your manual mode.

I was hoping to fit it in a Hana box, and there isn't room for a second switch. Also i wouldn't want to be able to accidentally hit the other switch when I'm running a 0.1 Ohm nickle build.

Then I'd say it's time to build another box.

One of the terminals of the DNA40 fire button is connected to battery+. The output GND is connected to the input GND.

So could the dna be bypassed with a high current DPDT switch? IDK, maybe? Too late in the evening here to start playing with schematics right now.
