If you are getting less nicotine from vaping than you did from smoking, it’s possible that your appetite will be increased due to a small amount of nicotine withdraw. There are also other chemicals in cigarettes which your body is withdrawing from which could affect appetite. More than likely your appetite should be back to normal in a couple of weeks.

I have to agree with the taste and smell coming back. Food tastes so much different to me now. Some better some worse. All I know is that I can actually go for a walk now and not feel like I'm going to pass out the first ten minutes. What a trade off! I can enjoy food and also exercise to burn it off! Ain't life grand!:thumbs:

I had the same issue, but joining to gym today in fact :)

Its a very common thing to pick up a couple of pounds after quitting, the most important thing is to take note of it and change your lifestyle accordingly. Don't do crash diets and don't starve yourself! Seeing that you took the leap to quit smoking, maybe now is the time to bump up the excersize too!
