Hiya Katz & Mick - Welcome to you both! I wouldn't let the topic here put you off because it all ended well.

Congrats on giving up the cigarettes too. :D

Agreed. Quitting is priceless. The entire point of posting this was NOT to complain. I am so in love with the concept and with the ease of quitting. I have not only quit but am supporting the industry that helped me do it. Its win/win.

There is a big difference between need and want. Unfortunately I only have what I need. I must have the smallest battery collection for a close-to-a-year now vaper. It's embarrassing!

My Family of V4L Batteries

In current rotation
gunmetal/regular manual/gold button/green LED (dob 2/2011)
...nice and I haven't worn out the logos yet...my champ...only syringe-filled cartos have touched this cream puff

chrome/regular manual/gold button/green LED (dob 10/2010)
my former favorite...V4L logo still there, top of crown remains on other side

Backup Plan
gold/regular manual/gold button/pink LED...my oldest manual (dob 6/2010)
...my first manual......we learned to condom fill together, we had some good times...but he doesn't last as long now...lol...good for getting over the hump when one of my in rotation batteries are not charged in time

chrome/regular auto/green LED
...my favorite automatic...from my starter kit (replacement)...great draw...I'll miss this one...doesn't get much action unless I have a pre-filled carto to vape

Not in rotation
chrome/regular manual/gold button/green LED (has a twin in rotation)
...it was fun while it lasted then I went overboard lifting the post and it's too high and crooked...have to make final arrangements or donate to science...YMMV and should. I have a high klutz aptitude. This battery was a bonus anyway, so even-steven.

black/regular auto/orange LED
...from my starter kit...always had an airy draw and has very low miles...meh

white/shorty auto/orange LED
...here's another one I botched!...cleaning the threads with alcohol I was careless and got some on the white finish...had bald spots...tried to fix with white nail polish...ugly...had a tight draw anyway...was calling out for Ethel but she didn't answer

I don't like rotating two batteries ninety percent of the time and I am going to move up in the world and YES...finally buy my first XL manual in the next 30 days.
It's time!

All in all since most of my purchases are consumable items, I would say I spend on average the equivalent of a carton of analogs per month and vape instead. I'm loving it!

Hey look they have having their "Our Last Sale Just Ended" sale. Everybody buy now!

I often get the question "how much does it cost to get started." My answer: About 50 - 100 dollars for the starter kits usually then your second mortgage for the cartos, juices and million other things you will find once you see how great this is.
