So either one of these will work with a power strip then the pass through. Correct??

IDK, is the total amp limit for all ports together? Read this under their description: Not a standalone charger. NOT FOR CHARGING IPAD or devices requiring more than USB's standard 500mA.

These things are neat, but let's be sane here. There's only so many power strips, wall warts and hubs you can add to a passthrough before getting another battery seems like a better idea

When I buy a walwart or lighter adapter I look for capability to charge i phones and that gives the capability for passthroughs. I did order several usb extension cables before to use with the short cable and all of them gave me a flashing light when connected to this passthrough (ymmv).

Yup. Either one of those will work. As long as the Output is rated at 1.5 amps (1500 ma) or higher, it should give you all the power you need to run a passthrough. Here is one more option - Wall to USB Converter [Pass-Thru Ready]

EGO-VV 1100mAh Rechargeable Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Battery with 0.7" LCD I'm not necessarily recommending that one because I don't like the button or the rubber around the button that I had to reglue...but this works in with less than 1.5 amps if needed.

When you fire the button your actually pulling off the attached battery. The usb portion just charges it. That being said I probably wouldn't put it into a laptop and vape all the way down to zero battery...but that might be a bit difficult unless your vaping all day constantly.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think you can fry a usb port with a pass through that has battery built in unless you completely drain the battery?
