You can always go with the DogeX, kinda combines both of them. But back to your original question, please specify which version of Mutation you are thinking about. The V1 and V2 are miles apart on their design. I like the solid screws of the V1 and the dual posi posts on the V2, but not the weird screws on it. The doges, all of the variations are solid except for the center post which usually requires some tightening so it doesn't spin on you, As far as performance, they all will do the job, depending on your build. All have great airflow and will push some clouds or deliver the flavor, depending on how you build them.

I can tell you that if you want flavor on the doge, you're gonna have a bad time.

The doge is a one-trick pony. Clouds. You won't taste much with it.

If you want flavor, I can say that my Marquis is wonderful at that. Haven't tried the Mutation X yet, and don't plan on it. I'm happy with the 2 RDA's I have. Both are great at what they're designed for.

I agree,
You are merely asking which cloud chasing competition RDA is better, that's what those where designed for, now if that's what your after the doge has a slight advantage over the the MX as far as being a freight train but the opposite as far as flavor.
