Hello, I have been analog free for 9 days (yay) and when I first started vaping last week the flavors were amazing (and some disgusting). I (for now) had found a couple flavors I was pretty happy with, mbv cinnamon bun and moo juice. Starting yesterday out of my inferno I noticed that the once eye popping flavor (cinnamon bun) seemed mostly not there. I thought maybe it was because I had let it steeped or maybe a bad atty or some kind of equipment/user malfunction. Fast forward to today,I had just received a brand new bottle of cinnamon bun and a vision/kanger t3. I loaded it all up excited that I would get that flavor pop again and well it was just as muted. I went back and tried it out of the inferno and the same thing....whats going on?!

I have found if I vape a lot that the tastes of all my juice can get muted, sometimes if you just take a break from vaping it will come back after a few days. But that is a hard thing to do especially if you just quit cigs. Congratulations on taking a healthier alternative to the cstick by the way.
Another thing that has helped me when a taste seems muted, is to drink a lot of water. For some reason drinking a glass of water and laying off for about an hour helps me get the taste back.
Taste is strange, same foods can taste different depending on what you are drinking , how long since you have brushed your teeth, etc..
Hard to say why the taste left, I have juices that I used to vape all the time and now I just don't like them. I started out liking some of the tabac flavors now I really don't care for them. The great thing about vaping is there are a seemingly endless supply of flavors and devices to try out. WARNING: Going down the vaping bunny hole can be hard on your pocketbook , but it can also be a lot of fun.

Oh try switching flavors around, sometimes I think your brain just gets used to a taste and sort of like driving somewhere you have been a thousand times you just don't really notice what is going on.

These are things I do when that happens, it may not help but who knows maybe it will. Good luck getting your cinnamon bun flavor back!

Years of smoking can damage your taste buds and your ability to taste the flavorings of e-liquids can be all over the place. After quitting cigarettes completely, they will heal, but your sense of taste can come and go as 2LittleCache has testified. This is called Vapor's Tongue in the trade. You can lose part or all of your ability to taste your e-liquid flavors. This can last for an undetermined amount of time (it can vary person to person) but is always temporary. Cause is unknown, but it seems to me it happens more to individuals who use the same flavor exclusively.

I'll just suggest that you exhale some of your vapor through your nose to allow your sense of smell to assist your tongue in distinguishing flavors.

Part of the whole switching process, you start regaining new senses that you didn't think you lost...but you did.
I started being able to smell things again, I never realized how much it took a toll on my senses until I quit. But try letting it steep a bit as Biglebowski said, leave the bottle cap off while you are sleeping one night, then try it once more. If not, try letting it just sit there for about a week or two. Kinda a long period of time not being able to vape that juice but it will be well worth it

I've just got menthol going but that nose exhales are always nice. I was using a couple exclusively, hopefully my taste buds aren't outta wack tomorrow because my order from fuzion is finally coming in, hopefully the juices live up to the hype.

Oh and on the basketball note, I also hope they win the next one.... Not a huge basketball fan but I can't help it but root for the home team.

Happy vaping!

I agree with all the advice you have gotten, I will vape up to three different flavors in one day. If I use one exclusively it starts to lose it's taste, any flavor you like but can't taste right now, just quit vaping it for a while and then go back to it. Drink lots of water, not just for your taste buds but because vaping is dehydrating. Sometimes I just have the odd day when nothing tastes right, try not to be discouraged.
