I love the MVP and darn near bought one until I found out it did not have an Ohm meter. Love the battery life and charging, the feel and heft, and now they went and fixed it. I will be adding this to the collection, though I have a couple of things ahead of it first. Congrats on your purchase. If there are not durability or build quality issues (I'm waiting to see), they count me on the team. With 510 and ego threading, it should work with most everything out there. I currently think the PTII is the best clearo on the market, imho, right now. Good luck!
The MVP 2 does have an ohm meter

Getting pretty frustrated with the MVP 2. It wont fire anything but an EVOD clone.
Everything else doesn't read or fire

Yikes thats not good o_0

I am guessing the basics have all been tried, maybe contact your vendor or innokin?

I have one and mine fires evod, evod clone, vivi nova and the iclear and iclear 30 great so far. I just switched around a few variations to see if I could recreate a firing issue and it seems to work on all. It sounds like an issue with that specific device :(

I have a quick question about the MVP2 - I have some beauty rings i bought for my mini nova on the ego - is the MVP beauty ring any different, or can I just use my mini nova ones? Sounds like a silly question, but hey, I already have two and I could get a 10ml juice for the cost so would like to know.

The ring that comes with fits proprietary threads that are larger than the ego's and its not tapered. They aren't really noticable unless you are looking for them. Maybe 2mm off the top.
It looks good with either the Protank flange or the innokin flange but the innokin ring looks more substantial.

The problem is the center post is too low. My guess is the cheapee clone's center post is just a bit longer than spec, and pushed in your battery post. Try and lift it back out with a small screwdriver or sharp pick.

I'm loving the MVP 2 I got from mtbakervaper last week, 53 bucks with discount codes and free shipping! It came with an Iclear30 and works well with it,but it definitely loves Iclear16s,lots and lots of vaper from them. I went from an ego mini to a ego twist to the MVP and the difference is amazing.I kept on smoking analogs while using the egos, though I cut back from a pack a day to a pack and a half a week with them. With the MVPs long battery life I haven't had a smoke since Thursday morning. The funny thing is I actually wasn't trying to quit it just happened!
