I have the innokin mvp 3 pro and was just curious as to why it goes up to 60 watts. I don't get the point. With a .5 ohm coil they recommend which I use, if I vape over 25-30 watts your gonna get a horrible burnt taste. I don't get why you would even need it to go all the way to 60. Thanks for all comments and opinions.

i build rdas at .2-.5 and with the higher airflow i am able to push them to 100 watts on my device and 60-70 watts at .5 gives me a great vape on a arctic v1 tank but it is also a matter of opinion and preference.

no disrespect meant just different settings for different folks

Depends on your juice and tank/dripper. I had the original 3.0 not the pro and I quickly outgrew it. For example many tanks (let's say tfv4) vape best around 60 to 90 watts depending on your coil installed. The smaller tanks even with a .5 coil tend to burn earlier in my experience. But to each their own, you could be a tootle puffer at heart and never venture over 30 watts.

Yep, what they said. Depends on the tank or RDA you're using, and how you prefer to build.

Rad choice getting the MVP 3 Pro, BTW. I just got mine today and I'm already in love with it and wanting another!

That was my first mod and still use it every now and then as a backup great for subtanks and the like around 12-25watts, and good for a few RDA,s also up to its 60watts, but the battery drains quicker at the higher wattages.
nice size screen easy to read and all round great mod.
battery lasted ages when only using upto 25watts.

Because you can put RDA and subohm tanks on it. It has a 510 connector.

You definitely made the right choice , Innokin makes superior mods compared to many others like Eleaf .

Many very popular e cig personalities who have been vaping from the beginning do not sub ohm because they get superior flavor from lower wattage vaping , i do as well lol.

There are still many more vapors who DO NOT sub ohm than the amount of vapors that do , may not seem like that but it's true.

I have experimented with everything since starting and i even build my RDA's in the 1.2-1.8 ohm range , why , because the flavor is mind boggling .

I think the flavor isn't nearly as good with low ohm builds to be honest , everyone has their preference.

Thanks I can't wait to get a different mod to experiment with different ohms cause I'm a flavor junkie and I want that mind boggling flavor your talking about.

A different mod lol, you mean different tanks i bet , remember everyone does not like the same thing .

You may end up loving very warm vapes and lower ohm builds , others love cooler vapes with higher ohm builds and lower wattage , it takes lots of experimentation .

No I'd like to get an un regulated box mod that I see a lot of people have on youtube but I've been trying coil builds on an RDA on my MVP I got a long way to go I'm not perfect at building coils but getting the hang of it. I don't like the warm vape I like it cool n smooth. The thing I hate bout drippers though is it eats juice like no other lol

Not all .5ohm coils are the same. Depending on the wire you use to make it. Take to long to list here But I could probably come up with a .5 build that would give dry hits at 20 watts or less and another cold vaporless ones at 50w or more. Just comes down to how much metal is in the coil.
I just got some 24 awg kanthal wire today did like 7 wraps each two coils i don't remember the ohms but was better tasting than my first builds a week ago. Only thing also this wire I get from lighting vapes I use rubbing alcohol wipe it first seems to help a lil but the wire tastes n smells awful at first. when i soak n alcohol and boil it seems to be fine. I dont see residue or anything but if i dont do that its un vapeable

new coils and wicks i also find task crap until you get a tank or a few ml of juice through them and they start to flavor up nice

also dont worry to much about the looks of ya builds as long as they work and taste good thats what counts

26awg and 28awg are great for alot of builds between .5 and 2.0 ohms prob the most common wire sizes

the more you coil and build the better you will get.
