Just got my MVP from FTech, first thing it has a slight firing delay. Tried different tanks and it's the same, even the iCLear 16s that came with it.

It also shut down a couple times at random. I thought it did that after so may puffs counted but I checked that, not it. Center pin looks fine, it's not smashed down or anything.

It's great, but just has a random but consistent delay like 3 out of every 5 puffs.

I have never had a problem like that with mine. Really odd. Of course, my first suggestion would be to try different tanks, but you were already on top of that one.

You said you just got it, right? Perhaps defective?
I would try filing a ticket with fasttech, but since I've never ordered from them, I have no idea how that process works.

Also make certain that your device isn't tightened too tightly into the connection. If it's too tight, it kick in the safety features.

I also had similiar problems, especially after cleaning a iclear30. It wouldn't even fire. Finally I readjusted it, loosened it up, and it began to connect properly.

I love my iclears, but since they're duel coil, you use higher voltage and it drains the battery faster than single coils. Then the safeties kick in too, and it can be frustrating. But it's one of those things to get use to.
