Hi! So, I'm getting an order together to place on Friday at Mtbakervapors and I'm trying to figure out this flavoring option. I wanted to buy juices but I like loads of excess flavor, so would it work to buy flavoring like sweet cream, vanilla, etc. for the purpose of adding extra flavor to already pre-mixed juices?

Also, does the same work with buying sweetners? Is there anything found in the grocery store that could be added to juices to add sweetness?

Basically, what suggestions to have for enhancing pre-made liquids??

Thanks!

By the time you buy a bunch of stuff from the grocery store you are going to spend more than the cost of up to 5 extra flavor shots. Not sure if getting flavors at the grocery store is recommended, but chances are you my might really screw it up. If the flavor is not enough you might go with a vendor more known for strong flavors or DIY with a known recipe.

I like strong flavors too, and I love MBV. The general consensus if you like strong flavors is to add one flavor shot for 80/20 mixes, 2 for 65/35, 3 for 50/50, etc. This has worked well for me.

Two things to be aware of:

Too many flavor shots may actually *decrease* how much you can taste the flavor. Sounds weird, but it's true. So if you want to risk getting 5 flavor shots in an 80/20 blend, go ahead, but know that that doesn't work very well for most people. (There are always outliers and you may be one of those, but personally, I wouldn't risk it on your very first order.)

Also, flavor shots will slightly increase the steeping time you need to give the juice. I get all my juice at 65/35 with two shots or 50/50 with 3, and all of my juices need to steep at *least* a week, sometimes two, often a month or longer for dark juices.

Edit to add: Also, in my experience, "mixer" juices like sweet cream, whipped cream etc actually *mute* the flavor of other juices just a bit... but they also make for a creamier vape. Your choice, but if you just want strong flavor, the easiest thing to do is get flavor shots in your juice. :)

Thank you! deanthemachine, I didn't mean getting flavors in grocery stores. I meant just sweetners...like liquid splenda? (if it exists...) Just wanted to make sure I'm clear about asking about adding flavoring (not other juices) to one single juice. Like sweet cream flavoring (just the flavoring, not juice) to peach juice as an example.

Vendors sell sweeteners too. Here's the link for MBV's. Sweetners basically *are* liquid Splenda, though I wouldn't try to make my own unless I was getting pretty deeply into DIY.

I keep a bottle around to add a drop here and there, but sweetener by itself doesn't add any flavor or make the flavors stronger. Mostly, it just rounds the flavor out a little, and occasionally it will make a particular juice a tiny bit sweeter. You do have to be careful with sweetener - a little goes a long way, too much will make your juice bitter, and sweetened juices tend to gunk up your atty faster.

If you're looking for some insurance to make very very sure your juice is flavorful enough, get whatever juice you're thinking about *and* a bottle of the same flavoring for each juice you order. Personally, I think that would be overkill for a first order - that little formula above delivers some truly blow-your-face-off flavor for most MBV juices, and more flavoring doesn't always mean more *flavor*, as I said above. But if your pockets are deeper than mine and you want to be able to play with the flavor level yourself, that's what I'd do. :)
