If it is in your tung I would suspect the atty. The MPV, along with every other mod, has a voltage between the outside of the 510, along with all the other metal touching it (the entire mechanical mod) and the post in the middle of the 510. Unless you like the 510, and have a skinny tung, there should be no way to get a shock. Electricity takes the path of least resistance and even with a 3 Ohm coil it is far less resistance than you.

There has to be something terribly wrong to give you a shock.

It's more than likely molten e-liquid spitting up from the atomizer. When I first started vaping I would get these little 'shocks' until I read what they probably were on ECF.

If you want to prove to yourself beyond reasonable doubt, use a delrin, glass or wooden drip tip and see if you still get it. If so, it's liquid.

If you want to avoid it, you can use a longer drip tip, turn down your device or use a higher resistance coil. Depending on your topper, you could also put a small flavor wick on top of the wick that goes through the coil to reduce spitting liquid.

Now if it is really shocking you, well that's a different thing. I highly doubt it is, but I would stop using it and speak to the vendor for advice on returning it for testing. Maybe even talk directly to Innokin.

I'm going to try a different coil and see if that's it. But I know this shouldn't be happening.

Oh it happens quite often - at least for me. Particularly when I have just rebuilt a coil, changed into a fresh battery and am using some of my wider bore drip tips. Maybe it's weird but I don't always find it unpleasant either

Thank you. This makes sense. No, it's not a severe shock or anything, just a little one. The molten ejuice spitting up sounds very plausible. I'll try turning it down a little and see if that stops it, since that's easiest to do first.

Thank you for your help!

Thanks for your experience with this. I kinda thought it was sort of interesting, not bothersome, too. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't something very wrong that I should be aware of.

Thanks, again!

I've had my MVP2 for a few weeks and love it! In the last 3 days, I've gotten a little electrical "shock" on the tip of my tongue. this has happened 3 times now and has me concerned. Has this ever happened to anyone with he MVP2?

Thanks.

I know others suggested what might help but if you only have had this a few weeks why not just return it and exchange for another new one as this may just have more problems a few more weeks or months from now. It still under warranty Verify Device and if the vendor won't exchange it I would contact Innokin Contact .
