So I went to a local place that has at least 50 mods to choose from prices ranging from $100-$2000. They have all the shiney, fancy, this tank that tank, add this extension that thing etc... I must have tried 20 different mods trying to achieve the same smoke I get from the trusty MVP. Honestly, most are weaker and only a few came close. I don't care about all the mechanics, physics, ohms watts and whatever else there is. I just care about getting a great vape hit. It just showed me that the other world of mech mods is cool and fun, but doesn't necessarily mean anything other than that. When I look at all these cool lightsabers and such I always thought wow they must give a better vape, they have a 1k mod and a $300 tank.. not... Not knocking the hobby or the coolness of the look, but I just found that the quality of the hit isn't better just because of the look. I could be wrong and I certainly didn't try every mod that is on this forum, but it sure made me feel better about my MVP's and VTR.

The whole thing is subjective. Could I arrive at the same destination in a Pinto or a Porsche, yes. Which one would you prefer to drive? etc... I guess what I am saying is that I want the best vape possible. If it means getting a Porsche, I will buy one. I went to test drive them and found that I wasn't finding a noticeable difference, worse yet I wasn't finding as good of an experience. The MVP delivers mass clouds of vapor and great throat hit instantly, but more over, consistently. The battery performance is great . I don't know, I wanted to leave $500 poorer but could not. Go ahead and teach me about this please. I am not about being right ever, I am about getting to the right solution.. So is this it or is there a vast universe I am missing? Thanks

You are 100% right. There are plenty of good mods out there. Grab what you like and enjoy. Vaping is not a competitive sport--it's a way to quit smoking and to have fun in the process. :D

What B&M in OK are you going to that has 50 Mods to pick from?

Well I obviously expected some backlash with such a title etc... I guess I would say honestly compare your experience without the dollar signs and coolness factor between your vamo and your phone charger there, and let me know where you stand... Thanks

I have to agree with him. I have both and purely vaping, VAMO just barely for the win for me. And you won't get a backlash for stating your opinion, but telling someone else they should reevaluate their opinion because it's not your's might.

I am very glad to hear you say that Macpeace because I just got my MVP2 last week and I am loving it. I have been using Vision 1300 Spinners and been pretty content but wanted to see about the vw. I do like the MVP2 a little better than my spinners but not by a whole lot more, I just feel I have a little better vape and much, much longer battery life. You may have just saved me a lot of money.

I spend a lot of time on ECF and do quite a bit of reading. I read about many people chasing clouds and buying multiple devices, toppers and other goodies. Not many seem to find that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Chasing the flavor is another big one. I am more likely to do that than buy all the devices.

I am glad that you have found a device that provides you with a satisfying vape and can recognize it. It gives me hope.

I love my MVPs. I love all the cool things I see others smoking. I thought the cool stuff might mean better vape overall. Perhaps that isn't what it is about. Perhaps it is about same vape but looks and feels cooler. That is fine I get it, and will probably get into it just because I think that stuff looks awesome! But I just wanted to be clear on this, it isn't about a better vape experience it is about a better looking vape experience...

I asked him to do an honest comparison and if that offends you then well... so be it. Rock on deanthemachine! peace

By doing so you assumed he didn't already do an honest comparison. Not sure how you can do an honest comparison without trying both. He went with what he likes as you did. I also would never spend $500 on a mod as their are so many that do the trick for less. And not offended at all, good to meet someone else from OK here.

You are so right Katya I think that sums it up. I am in such a stupor because my football team performed so badly tonight, I think it is affecting my view on life. LOL Honestly this post is so unlike me to even make I am not sure why I did it, but yet there it is... Thanks for your reply!

I see. Well, football is a competitive sport. I'm so sorry for your team's loss.

Just don't drip and drive. :D

If you satisfy with your current setup, that's wonderful. Mech mods are just different in form and function (button position, center pin, locking machanism etc.) but in the end they do the same job. Usually most of the vaper that use mech are using rebuildable stuff (dripper/tank) and build their own coils to suit them, it's like tailor resistance to what you want how vape experience to be, and there's lots of wicking material to use which give different flavor for one juice IMO.

I love to use mech with RDA and prefer it over clearomizer or carto-tank I have used. The best vapor flavor and throat hit since I started vaping.

I think the issue is that I assumed they were better somehow... like I was missing out... I want to be wrong... I want someone to say hey stupid your not getting all the flavor or clouds you could be here is why.... The MVP doesn't deliver the goods. Step on over here and let me show you what's up...
I tried this myself and didn't see the return on investment for me personally... I should have never made this thread. Sorry If I offended anyone on anyway.
