So me and my girlfriend just got mvp2's today. She has a mt3 bcc basically bigger version of the evod from my understanding. Anyways setup worked great for a little while then tank started leaking. Cleaned it up cleaned out coil and put er back on mvp. well the mvp isnt recognizing the mt3 becuase when i go to check the ohms it just says none. Its got me stumped. any of ya'll have any suggestions?

That's what I was saying above. The clearos worked great, but the cartotanks didn't. Evod and T3 are both clearos. The connector pin of the juice device has to make electrical contact with the battery to work.

Either the connector on the juice device is too short to make contact, or the connector pin on the MVP is too short.

Not sure. I dont think its that though. My evod and t3s work great on it.
Then it's the clearo, or as Bad suggests, the 510 center pin on the MVP. Do you have another resistance reading mod to try it on, or a multimeter you can check resistance with? The coil may be broken and you have an "open circuit", or it might be shorted to ground.

I apologize. I still havent quite got the difference between clearomizers and cartos figured out. As you probably know.. The mt3s dont have a single removable coil. The coil is connected to the base, so when you go to change your coil, or purchase a replacement, you buy the whole coil and base (there all one piece) which i despise..gf just loves the pretty pink color and the look on her spinner and mvp. As of now iv got her turned on to the mini pt2 so its not a huge ordeal, id just like to be able to resolve the situation and add some informational learning under my belt. I appreciate ya'lls response and willingness to help.

I am still waiting on my MVP2, but they use the same basic construction. The connector on top is a haor deeper than most and you may have to grab some needle nose pliers and gently pull on the center pin. Most T3s and Protanks have a coil assembly that screws in and if it is not tight in the base it will not fire on a MVP

I apologize. I still havent quite got the difference between clearomizers and cartos figured out.

It's pretty easy. Most cartomizers are stainless steel tubes with a cotton-like filler material in them. Clearomizers are plastic or glass tanks with metal or plastic tops and bottoms. Take a look at this picture dictionary I made that explains the differences in more detail:

Proper Terminology: Is it a Caro? a Tank? or What? A Primer of Juice Attachments
